@Jimmy Broadbent , just a tip i wanna give you guys, at 2:25 during the taxi laps the guy seems to be moving alot in the seat. I have been a mechanic for years on several GT3 cars, and just wanna tell you guys that he shouldn't be moving that much. He needs to be very tight in his seat, we had 1 guy that was not tight in his seat one time, that was in a crash, and because when the car came to a full stop, he moved forward in the seat just a tiny bit and bottomed out in it (not sure how to say it in English since it's not my main language), and he had a terrible injury in his lower back because he wasn't fully tight in his seat. So please, make sure whenever you take passengers, and also when you drive yourself, that you are fully tight in the seat, both the bottom & the top of the seatbelts should be super tight! I wouldn't ever wanna see a video pop up where someone got a terrible back/spine injury because they weren't fully tight in their seats.. Also, if you see this comment guys, please upvote it so Jimmy and his crew see this, because i feel like it's very important. If it's ever our turn to be a passenger in a taxi lap, we want to be safe and if a crash happens, we want to walk out without any injuries :)

A bit late seeing this but I 100% agree - I'm not from a motorsport background at all, but in aviation, and many of our aerobatic aircraft have essentially the same type of harness you have in a race car. I believe the term is 'submarining' when your lower body slides forward a bit on impact and you can end up with injuries almost as bad as if you weren't strapped in at all, not just spinal injuries but organ damage too.

I thought the same when I saw the first guy. Jimmy or someone should make sure that the passenger is properly buckled up

Wow, that was one hell of a weekend! Drive to the Nurburgring in a Ford GT40. Go racing. Win your class by a country mile. Steve did such an amazing job to avoid getting caught up in all the carnage. The Nordschleife is narrow at the best of times, but when one of the cars in front of you is sideways across the track, it's an *extremely* tight squeeze!
