Ok... So I may or may not be a bottle of rosé in but I feel compelled to reach out. I discovered y'all fom TikTok because TikTok knows me better than I know myself. I was immediately hooked. I'm a gay man in my third year of medical school and sometimes life gets extremely difficult for me. I'm in such a better place now, but I swear there were days that the only thing that got me out of bed in the morning was looking forward to this week's good children episode. Watching y'all's following grow fills my heart with so much joy. You both deserve every tiny iota of success you've accomplished and truly so much more. The way you both are so open and honest makes me feel like I'm a part of the conversation and I sometimes find myself chiming in even though no one is around to hear my input. I desperately wish I could've attended the live show but unfortunately duty calls and I couldn't be there. Last thing is, I'm working on gratitude because research shows that when we articulate the things we're grateful for that we're happier and more appreciative so: Andrew, I appreciate your comedy and charisma. When I'm nervous to talk to a patient I often think 'what would Andrew do?'. Joe, your thoughtfulness and drive is so inspiring to me and on my worst days, when I just want to quit and throw it all away, I think 'joe wouldn't give up!'. Thank you for such an amazing season! Rest up and I'll be the first listener of the next season! Ps: Joe can get it! 😉

RE: the title- everyone did have a trampoline but me. I even saved up dog walking money for one but still wasn’t allowed to buy it. During a heart-to-heart last month with my dad I learned that he was pro-trampoline the whole time and tried to go to bat for me but my mom was convinced I’d break a bone (I would’ve)

i was one of the only ones of my friends who had a trampoline, which we never used enough of, and i was always embarrassed that i could never land a damn flip like my friends, but one summer one of my friends/neighbors was on it with me and we all started double bouncing. the issue was that that neighbor friend was a little older and definitely bigger than us, so he doubled bounced hard extra hard and ended up landing on/crushing my foot. it was super swollen and purple. i think if i wasn't screaming at him i would have just been crying. never bounced with him again....
