The Guard on the one horse is a superior rider. They all did a good job at taking care of the horses. Preventing any issues from those miscreant protestors.

I had a photographer friend who was there, he said the MOD police didn't know they were coming, it caught them all off guard.

@@marywood6270 That lot would have walked the whole way across the Parade Ground, and with many CCTV cameras positioned the perimeter, all the Government Buildings, straight into the tunnel, and nobody noticed them? Presence of armed MOD Officers, usually one near the Guard in the tunnel. The group was flanked by many Metropolitan Police Officers, whom I supposed were present to deter a breakout of violence which would be a first for them. Plus at the moment, there is heightened security threat in England and especially the capital, London.MOD Police are responsible for the security of that whole area. I saw the video of the 'walkthrough' by that group. The CoH was at the front by the horse boxes. He didnt see them until they poured out of the courtyard and onto the footpath. The possibility is that he didn't know, but there is a great possibility he did know. Information regarding instances involving security wouldn't be discussed with the public, except to inform the Troopers, the horses were being taken in.The MOD Police and the Metropolitan Police treat these people with kid gloves. Why? Nobody knows. I wonder if that was before they defaced the walls of the MOD building with red paint, because in that crowd was a female who had in fact been one of that 'saintly array of idiots, who was arrested arrested. Thank you for showing respect and blurring out the unwell person. As for the marching.. freedom of speech. I understand. But some care with the banners an flags near horses would have been good.
