Hi John I am from the USA and I am fairly new to your channel. I just wanted to tell you that I think it is rather amazing how respectful you are when you are educating people on how to be respectful to the working military when they are standing at their posts and guarding horse guards. My grandfather fought in the Korean war in both the army and the Navy and I am proud of his service I am extremely proud of his service that I have a tattoo on my arm and remembrance of his service. And it breaks my heart when in any country somebody can look at a member of the military doing their job and stand there and laugh at them and make fun of them. So thank you for doing what you do and also thank you for educating those who don't understand the small courtesies that you should give to the military when they are doing their job. Also just to let you know I am a total fan of your channel and I absolutely love Ormonde. Favorite horse hands down

Around 4:50: I'm glad the photographer lectured one of the young member of an Orthodox Jewish group, who mocked one of the ceremonial guard at the Royal palace. The example about similar incident against IDF soldier brought up, although the Orthodox youth was a British subject, which made everything even more strange. Where are the teacher/parent/leader of the group, who would reign these youngsters in BEFORE these incidents happen?

Ormonde always gives fair warning. Tourists choose to ignore both the signs and Ormonde. His ears say it all. People should learn the body language of a horse. Flat back ears mean anger. His are often sideways but partially back signaling he is annoyed already just standing there. Foolish to get close to a horse that is saying "stay away." They do it anyway and he pins his ears back and bites. I think he is a neat horse and deserves respect. He is a soldier after all!

Frankly I'm fed up with all these antics. No respect for our military and a really bad idea to encourage the general public to consider this to be a tourist attraction. It's a danger to both sides. There was a time when guards stood outside the perimeter of Buckingham Palace but after a famed incident involving a tourist, things were swiftly moved inside where they've remained ever since. This will end up one day with serious injury or an international incident. Stop it NOW!

Most of the Chinese tourists approach the horses as if the rules apply to everyone else. Then they are shocked that they get tossed to the ground. And, some of the girls in this video are acting as if they are scared to death of the horse, all the while trying to get the attention of the guard, they need to buy a postcard, take a picture of themselves, cut it out and paste on the postcard. Then, they won't have to go through the antics of screaming when they approach the horse.

This horse, Ormonde I guess, just shows how people are not even aware of a personal space, not to mention the respect for horse and guard on duty. He makes clear that there has to be space to breath and be. … and the mocking of the guard is hard to take and you are doing a great job to talk to these guys, making your point.
