The reason why Mahomes is so great is the same as why Brady was.....their 500 IQ. No matter what you do to him, he's going to figure out a way to win because he's simply just smarter than you. I am not a Chiefs fan but I still recognize greatness when I see it.

But now after week 2, I've never felt more comfy in my life as a Chiefs fan. We have the head to head on both the Ravens and the Bengals only after week 2! Bwahahaha!! Why didn’t that first play go to Ju Ju on blitz side? IMO that was a miss. Seemed to me like he made his mind up that he was going to that side. IMO, he sometimes do not see the entire field.
@ХорхеГарсия-э5еАй бұрын
Looks like Juju wasn't supposed to be where he was. He stumbled on his release and then just moved to open space. The pressure was coming so Mahomes just went to the check down that the play call had readily available for him. That extra second to look over to the middle, not see Juju where he is supposed to be and then scan THE WHOLE FIELD to find him is not something you can, or should, try to do in a collapsing pocket.
@taron.yАй бұрын
@@ХорхеГарсия-э5е I thought the blitz side is the hot side. When the blots came ball should have been to that side. Say this in hindsight because the ball was intercepted or that side was covered. IMO, ball goes to blitz side. Now the route is irrelevant because of all the green field. Just get him the ball. So he didn’t see the blitz or green field.

When they play the chiefs it’s literally their superbowl.. they are built to beat them but mahomes with a chance to win the game and time? When they got the ball back nobody had a doubt. @voxelationАй бұрын
Only if two men are in motion when the ball is snapped. From the NFL rulebook: "When the ball is snapped, one player who is lined up in the backfield may be in motion, provided that he is moving parallel to or away from the line of scrimmage. No player is permitted to be moving toward the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped. All other players must be stationary in their positions." "It is also Illegal Motion, if a player under or behind center goes in motion and fails to come to a complete stop for at least one full second prior to the snap." That's why when the Chiefs moved to the V formation, they came set for a second before the ball was snapped.
