Bedlam i really appreciate your videos Im not a new player, been playing since 2020, so i knew most of these tips anyways. It was just nice to see it being eloquently worded here. Also your ranked videos are just relaxing to watch while im pushing myself. Although i do have 1 question about brawl ball. Sometimes when im playing tanky brawlers like El Primo, Bull, Frank et cetera, Im not able to score because my balls are wayyy too heavy to drag them across the floor. Im wondering if theres any way to make my balls less heavy? Like they have their own health bar and make me unable to move

I'm sorry but there's no way to make the balls less heavy, only thing you can do is to focus on yourself in this situation. Don't blame the balls for their weight, instead focus on how you can make yourself stronger in order to swing the bulging balls over your shoulder and carry them with you to the goal. Honestly the issue in lower ranks is not you not knowing these strats but your team not knowing. For example in mythic matches when i try to switch lanes my team doesn't replace me in that lane and that leads to getting wiped 😔

Since I’m in masters I didn’t expect anything new to learn from this video but It’s nice to see that the game sense I have developed over the years is being listed down in single tips in these kinds of videos, the issue always just seems to be that when you do stuff like land switching, your teammates won’t replace your lane even if the matchup is more favorable and instead stack on top of you and literally run around with you when there is a splash brawler hitting you both, or them not helping you with a pinch and then focusing a enemy that is safe spot they can’t reach

The biggest issue with most people legitimately stuck from gold -mythic is; they don’t understand how to play a game mode (not grabbing ball, hogging gems as a lane, dying alone in hot zone, always pushing in bounty), or suck at drafting. I very rarely see someone stuck because they just can’t aim but I’m sure it happens

@@calxn874 you’re very right, you don’t even need to be good at dodging and aiming, that’s just what lifts you from the mediocre players to the pros, but everyone should build a little gamesense and actually watch those videos to see how you improve a mode, prevent to die every few seconds by pushing a lane they can’t win and so on, it’s just sad that many people blame others for mistakes they make in random matches

Hey bedlam can you please make a guide on what the different roles are? I don’t really mean like the tank attacker and assassin roles that the game already gives you but more about what carry, aggro and tank brawlers are and what they should do in a match for example. I’ve never really been able to wrap my head around them and what the different roles do. Edit: maybe a video about team compositions and what types of brawlers would be optimal for a team.

I'm actually stuck in diamond and I realised a lot of times my teammates are spamming thumbs down because I usually walk out in a clump instead of walking to my own lane and then I died soo many times and the Rico who stays in the left usually spam me dislikes after respawning I really appreciate your content it helps out a lot and I especially love what you said about being in control of your mentality I totally resonated I met some bad randumbs where they attack each other after spamming thumbs down and graffti (i hate to admit it's funny tho) but it just puts me into an awkward situation where I have to accept we'll probably lose cause of them throwing after a bad round of knockout

I almost reached masters in last season and I really think that rank rewards experience, I’ve been playing pretty much since launch on and off and it’s easy to climb if you have the knowledge and a somewhat good account going on. I’m honestly no master player, and it’s impressive how just by knowing your best first picks and last picks, as well as keeping in mind counters and the general direction of the draft can literally win you games before they start. I’m not that good mechanics wise, but I’ve proven that if you know how to play into the meta brawlers you climb suuuuper fast, and the skill level is quite scuffed now so you pretty much only win if you know your matchup and make it extra favorable for your team to play the game. Now more so since modifiers are out for some time, I climbed back up to legendary today- and it was honestly quite a lot of fun. Hope y’all reach masters one day, as I’ll try tomorrow to reach it since last season I couldn’t because of some health issues. GLHF!

1:49 had a match just now with this. Played penny, and the enemy surge and Nita just both pushed on the same chokepoint at the same time, giving me insane value with the coins. Just one-two hits and they were both on like 1K HP. It‘s sometimes baffling to me how many players, even really experienced ones, forget to do the one thing that counters penny: staying far away from each other! Like I was in 1K matchmaking and there were people, good players, just lining up to get hit by each coin shot! Multiple times! 4:40 and this was a huge learning experience for me too! I had a match on that exact map where we were losing badly. Our kenji was getting shredded by Nita on the right, and I couldn‘t get out of Brock’s optimal range with colt on the left, while the middle was basically a stalemate. First round we lost, second round we barely won, but third round, apparently, me and kenji (who was a random btw) had the exact same idea, as be both immediately switched lanes. I now went up against the Nita, while kenji pushed against Brock, and that third match went so smooth! We won by a landslide, all because me and kenji changed our matchups! I outranged Nita, meaning she could do practically nothing but give up land or push into certain death, and kenji, with the shield and dash, managed to get past Brock’s prime range easily and shred him up close, while the middle was now easier to win with pressure from both sides!

Is the current state of ranked with no modifiers harder than previous ranked seasons? And if so is it a major difference?

I've noticed it's easier for me without modifiers because I don't have to adjust my picks based on mods, those mods have their own meta and playstyle separate from classic. It might be more difficult unfortunately if you got really food at playing with mods and neglected skills needed for the base game. But overall I wouldn't say it's too different, skilled players will still climb
