Everyone’s Favorite Cases? Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

I have 2 cases with front frames like the one on the last Otterbox XT. A Poetic Guardian case and the CaseBorne V case. Both have a similar front plastic frame that you put on first. Then I slide the phone and frame bottom first into the main case piece. The Poetic case is clear backed like the Defender XT and has magsafe capabilities with a cool styled stand the pops out from around the camera opening. It also comes with a second front piece with built in screen protector. I used the one without and put a tempered glass protector on it. The CaseBorne is my new favorite. Heavy duty and very similar to an Otterbox Defender in protection. The camera area is covered 100% up to the lenses within a very deep recess. I'm extremely surprised at the quailty, protection and pricing of this CaseBorne V case. Prior to this new phone I've always used Otterbox Defenders on all my previous Note phones. The 2 cases I bought for my S24 Ultra cost $21 & $24. Much less then the more expensive Otterbox. My lesson learned this go around is to never spend more then $30 on a case again. Both were purchased on Amazon. I highly recommend both these cases.

I agree about the camera cutout on the Otterbox cases- the tapering is nice. I much prefer it over the P-shape, O-shape, and individual lens cutouts that most other cases go with. I just got the Symmetry today and it's alright. I much prefer the feel of my RingKe Onyx, but the camera cutout on the Symmetry is just so much better.

I have a black symmetry case it's had hard drops never an issue i used otterbox for 10 years extremely good protection and lifetime warranty or as long as you have the phone

I love the clear symmetry. I'm using one on my s24+. I hate the fingerprints, though. I actually use an adhesive pop wallet plus to give my fingers a place to rest to avoid the prints. And, for a wallet, of course 😊 I think the clear symmetries look great from the front.

I have UAG Monarch Pro in carbon fiber. Looks awesome and feels great. I have always used spigen from S7 to S21 and every since screen I have had has cracked. On my S22 I had UAG and survuved 2 years until I took the case off and dropped it on concrete 2 mins later. Went UAG this time around.

Exact same here man. I have always used Spigen, their designs, the way they perfectly fit the phone, and the protection has alwahs been perfect. I got the UAG case with the OD green kevlar this time around and love it. Looks and feels amazing, and also has magsafe.

Well done! Much respect on your approach and ability in accomplishing so many case reviews in Best Buy. Otterbox Defenders have been my go to up until my Note 20 Ultra. Superior protection and quality. The problem I've had the past 2 cases was 2 fold. 1. After a few drops the interior hard plastic front frame cracks at the bottom 2. The rubber cover began deteriorating on the back side where my finger oils and pressure was concentrated. Even though I had these issues the phone remained in immaculate condition for my trade in towards the beast S24 Ultra. Your attention to detail and filming abilities are remarkable and earned me as a Subscriber. Look forward to your future tech videos.

I always used otterbox defender cases with my phones. For the s24 ultra I went with the UAG monarch pro this time. Expensive but nice case. The one thing i wish it had was a port cover like the otterbox does for the usb c port

I like the look and protection offered in the OtterBox Defender Pro XT. Is there anything that I can fill the huge camera cutout area? Perhaps camera protector ring? Is the back too thick for wireless charging?

The back is pretty thick, and might reduce the charging efficiency, but I would assume it would work. Please let me know if you find out. Thanks!

Great video review!!! 🤗📱❤️ I have the Otterbox Denfender Pro and the Denfender Pro XT for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and I love the Otterbox Denfender Pro XT in the lavender skies color and I have no problems at all putting my phone in the case. I ended up getting an Insignia Glitter case and the official Samsung case in yellow for my new Samsung S24 Ultra because my local Best Buy store was pretty limited which I don't see why??? 🤔📱🤔📱🤔📱 Not even two of my local Walmart stores had any S24 Ultra cases only S23 cases.

@SomethingMobile sorry, not planning to get the s24 this time around, but I do have the Mous case and OB Defender. I find that the Defender of course made the phone bigger and for me that got tiresome when holding it. Always got a Mous case for when I do get a new phone and love the button improvements for the S23u. Past cases the buttons were molded and now they have actual buttons.

I am a Spigen diehard. I have been for nearly a decade. Ive tried Caseify, UAG, Otterbox, etc. Just to explore other options, but none have beaten Spigen.

You were supposed to place the front frame onto the OtterBox first then place that into the bottom part thats why it was so difficult for you

hi next time, first put the frame on the phone than the case otherwise you scratch the phone titanium or not it can get scratches .

for the first time in my life i will run a flagship caseless the tougher glass on the front and rear hopefully stopping micro scratches i believe can justify running it caseless this phones form factor in incredible and deserves to be showed off i think im 6ft2 with big hands and even with a medium thickness case on the phone is hard to use with 1 hand with a case without the case 1 hand usage is easy.. caseless it is

I would never go without a screen protector. I have already seen videos of people scratching their screens. And going caseless is something I wouldn't do either, especially if you are one that trades in your phone for newer ones when they release. $1300+ for a device isn't cheap and protecting it is the smart way to go. It's the saying "better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."

If it wasn't for the cameras, I wouldn't use a case, so I'm looking for the thinnest possible clear case. The one I have is too think on the sides and prevents my 90⁰ USBC cable from plugging in...

I use the clear case by Spigen. It's called Liquid Crystal. I got mine from Amazon. I hope this helps!

I have not been impressed with uag lately, no customer service number and wouldn't offer a return label until i had to show a video of their magnetic case not working, lacking magnetic strength.

It should be two pieces for the defender you put those on first then put the rubber on. That was the past versions of the the Defender
