Garry! You must visit the archeological museum you will find mummies that date from the Inca period.

I visited it but I couldn't film or take pictures of the mummies so no video. But it was very interesting

Amigo Garry...good walk, good video, I think I missed seeing more of the historical museum....I recommend the high mountain museum in front of the town Cabildo (although I'm sure you already know this) there are the bodies of three indigenous children sacrificed in an Inca ceremony some 500 years ago. I look forward to more videos of Salta la Linda.super like.

Great to hear you're feeling better, Garry! Thanks as always for the calming - but very informative - tour. Robert Duvall owns a small hotel outside Salta (the House of Jasmines), if you feel like visiting; gives a you a good feel of rural Salta Province - but with all the creature comforts. All the Best.

This video is the best one I have seen on Salta really showing what the city looks like. Wondering, with all of the places in Argentina you've been to, if you had to pick one to live in, which city would you pick?
@GarryMikal3 ай бұрын
That is very hard to say because I would honestly love to live in any of the cities I have visited. But, if I had to choose, I would choose Buenos Aires simply because the vast size of the metro area allows for a great deal of diversity of experience depending on where in it you would choose to live. Thanks for watching!

Salta is nice but after seeing how looks now I can tell you for sure that Tucuman (the city were the independence of Argentina was declared) is nicer, you need to go there!

I appreciate your research before filming. It’s like having a paid tour guide showing people around.

Spain never had colonies, Spanish possessions had the status of viceroyalties, which means they treated those lands like part of the Kingdom of Spain and not colonies to loot their resources like England did with it's colonies
@yoelmaspiola3 ай бұрын
Si éramos colonia, justamente ésa es la definición, que hacen parte de su territorio un lugar que no es suyo, vinieron, colonizaron y toman la tierra. Y si saquearon recursos en toda latinoamerica.

Yeah, that’s a colony. Places in the Americas under English rule were also part of the kingdom and the people subjects of the crown. As for your resource claim, that’s completely ahistorical. The quantity of gold and silver taken by Spain out of the Americas was so vast it caused a hyperinflation of the economy in Spain.
