The solo on Star or Stone from CRB s Big moon Ritual is one of my favorite guitar solos ever. 🙏

Thanks for doing and posting this. I stumbled upon Neal via CRB and immediately was drawn to his amazing sound. Fortunately, I got to see them live 5 times. Every show was mind blowing! The last show was at The Queen in Wilmington, DE. As I was pulling out of the parking garage I saw Neal standing outside of the bus so I pulled over to say thank you. Someone was talking with him and after a few minutes I thought should leave him alone cuz he was probably tired and I’ll look for him at the next show. Sadly, he left us way too soon 😢 Much Love to You Neal!🙏🏼

Great interview and just beyond sad. I love Neal. I found this after listening to Halicarnassus and just being blown away by his tone and overall ridiculously cool vibe of his playing. Thanks for posting this.

I just watched him with Chris Robinson in the record store. Sad that he passed.

If only Neal’s friends had asked some of these questions during this time, I wonder if he would have opened up? I don’t blame him for keeping his personal stuff out of the interview but with each question I sensed he wanted to talk about how he felt. Love Neal’s music

In earlier interviews in his career he spoke of the "melancholy" he carried with him constantly. I'm sure those close to him were aware.

Moving interview, in hindsight I think you may've asked a few more questions or at least would've rearranged a few. Looking forward to watching more of your interviews. Thx for your work

The chance timing of this is bittersweet. It’s sad, but also a sorta celebration of his life, that he’s talking in the past tense all throughout. Thanks for this post!

I saw him at Lockn less than a week before we lost him. Terrible tragedy.

Why you never mention Ryan Adams as an act with Neal or Greg?

The second half, in particular, is difficult to watch. You asked some tough but important questions. We can all learn something from Neal
