I was wondering if I also mount a front facing camera to the head unit, would the Virtual Surround View image be more complete when starting my parallel parking?

Can you get this feature by using BOTH the AC-HD03LR Camera and the S8 G2 Headunit? Or can either device access this feature paired with a different camera or headunit?

Hi, yes this feature will work only with both S8G2 and AC-HD03LR Camera, can not work on other models.

trying to decide if the 180 degree is worth it considering im probally happy with just the rear view not sure i need the virtual surround view

Hi, thank u for your interest! The virtual surround view is quite useful for a new driver and even an old hand who is parking a large vehicle (full-size sedan/SUV, van, light trucks) in a narrow or small space. I believe you won;t regret to have one !
