The one aspect thats missing in this video is that Insurance cost is pretty high at around 3% of your salary. So essentially its not free it comes at high insurance premiums.For example the insurance cost in India is at 0.003% of your salary. So you are getting everything free in germany at high insurance premiums you are paying.

How dilated one has to be when they get the epidural in Germany? I've heard that in US , they're often fine with giving it at 2/3cm but in Germany they wait until cervix is dilated to 4cm. Is it true? Thanks

We had a public one. Private should cover the same, but need to check before buying. Maximum people in Germany have public as it is cost effective in the long run i guess.
