Years ago, while vacationing in Kauai, hubby and I accidentally came upon "Baby Beach" and wished that we had found it earlier. It was a minute walk from our little condo rental! Being a scaredy-cat with waves, I found Poipu beach to be just the ticket and I ended up swimming with the kids in that enclosed area. Polihale was an experience we will never forget as our rental jeep got stuck in the sand when our driver friend drove it onto the beach! We were finally rescued that night and were lucky enough to see 2 rocket launches from the nearby military site! Never a dull moment in Kauai...thanks for your great videos, Anne!

Kauai is truly Paradise. I got to visit Hanalei Bay, Poipu Beach and Lydgate Park when I visited in 2020 and they were all great beaches. I was amazed how clear the water was! I have a fear of some creatures in the ocean so it was great to get in and not have to worry about getting stung, bitten or eaten! 😂

Great video! We've been to several of these beaches and loved them all. We also enjoyed Salt Pond very much - it was a great place to watch the sunset and it wasn't crowded!

aww...Yes! The turtles are amazing and you almost always see a monk seal at Poipu beach.

I do love Salt Pond...one of the best places to watch the sunset! I also love my sea salt from Salt Pond!
