Just started playing ER a few weeks ago and I've been having a lot of fun with it. My main issue is just how complicated the game is to get into, I play a ton of league so I thought it would be simple but this is probably the hardest game to get into that I've ever played period. Getting stomped by veteran players almost every game has definitely made the experience harder to enjoy. Really looking forward to these changes and I hope it makes the game easier to learn and pick up because, the main reason I don't think it has as many players as it should is solely due to how complicated it is to get into.

Yeah, i totally agree. It used to be very hard for people to get into. Having to watch guides for food or the ui alone is insane. I really think the new changes will fix a lot of the issue and make it so much better for new players! I will also try to help out as much as possible with guides and streams!

Some great changes but the biggest issue is smoothness, the servers just simply aren't good enough and you feel like you're playing in syrup. Going from LoL to ER is painful, but hopefully this continues to improve as it has some brilliant ideas.

I never understood how a lot of people get overwhelmed by the saved plan UI. That's like one of the easiest part of the game to understand~

They did a test with ~50 new players, and those already had problems with the UI. Games should not be complicated UI or healing wise, which is why i think the changes are pretty good!

Everything You Should Know: Please play the game to keep the player count high enough in the West so that everybody doesn't quit because of queue times. "But I don't want to play squads." As a fellow solo main, me neither, but this may be the first and last time since the game originally launched that you'll be able to get games in a reasonable amount of time on NA, so I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can.

Exactly, also people that prefer solo Q should play even more than squad players! If the game gets popular enough to have a stable player base, then there is a good chance for solos to come back!

I hope the new battle pass doesn't suck like 80% of them do. If the game tries to force me to grind more than 3 days a week I'll just not grind at all. I already play enough gacha games, I don't need to add to my list of daily chores.

Well, the battle pass will be active for 2 seasons, so I'm pretty sure you don't have to grind as much as in other games.

i dont know about the revive a teammate. its nice on one hand to revive for early game losses but with a bunch of randoms on your team i can see people leaving as soon as they die especially if the cost is too high for a quick revive because of the gearing up phase they'd probably be way behind on lvls/gear/consumables by the time the rest of the team saves enough to buy their life.. will there be a block where they cant re-que while that squad match is going on kinda like how league has it so u cant leave and que while a game is still going on.

Well automatic revives until day 3 will still be in the game! From my perspective as someone that plays ER on a very high lvl, i can tell you that if one teammate dies after day 3 then you automatically lose the game because 2v3s are extremely difficult and that happens really fast with 3ps

According to their dev stream, there will still be bots, especially in low mmr/new player lobbies, but it is very likely that there will be less in mid/high mmr lobbies because of the new influx of player!

Why remove the passes completely after two seasons? I get you can craft the skins, items, etc. but it's still kind of weird. I mean i'm excited at these giant changes but at the same time worried, it's so late to add these things and while some things are a step forward, some things feel so risky they might be a huge step backwards. Only time will tell i s'pose.

Removing them makes sense to me. Every other game does this, and the truth is that NN is having a really hard time monetizing the game. I think taking risks is fine because if the games goes on like rn then i won't exist for long

There are a lot of reason! 1. Balancing them is very hard 2. Flash is an extremely strong skill, in league it is ALWAYS picked. The best counter to flash is to take flash yourself. 3. You cant time active skills in ER, while you can in leauge. These are the first things that come to mind.

Solos and Duos are getting temporarily removed. Previous battle passes are also removed, but you can get skins with the new forging system!
