Hey all, Zach here! First of all I wanted to thank all of you for your gracious support - as of now, I have 74 subscribers and yet still a total of 21,000 channel views, which is crazy to me. I have been thinking about some of the map locations again and I wanted to amend some of my placements that I am not satisfied with anymore or add some new ones that aren't covered in the video, or just add some more lore. MAP UPDATES: Vicarstown Goods Yard: Nothing changes here, but I wanted to mention its inconsistencies here for a moment: In Escape, it is explicitly mentioned that Douglas took the Midnight Goods to a far away part on the island, where only the diesels work (Vicarstown). Rusty to the Rescue for some reason tries to contradict that by calling this location somewhere in England, so obviously there is a problem there. I firmly believe that this is Vicarstown, because for one, Rusty to the Rescue still mentions that this is the same place, where Douglas found Oliver and also for the fact that it doesn't even remotely make sense for a narrow gauge engine to somehow reach Barrow-in-Furness and beyond, the continuity that only the diesels work here is still kept and somehow even the atrocious 2014 map got it right, so there you go - it is still Vicarstown (the yard and station are shared with British Railways) and Rusty to the Rescue just misworded the location's placement. --- Valley Cliffs: North of the Suspension Bridge (as seen in CAE!; not south, and of course not the split-off to the Bluebell Valley Line). The Split-Off is the Works shown in Rusty to the Rescue, which is situated directly after the dual-gauge tunnel. ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Rusty_to_the_Rescue/Gallery?file=RustytotheRescue23.png --- Castle Causeway and Black Loch swapped: In the video I have stated that Black Loch is west of Callan Castle and the causeway is east, but that is actually untrue, as shown in Seeing the Sights. Thomas goes west though Black Loch, then Callan Castle and up north towards the Fishing Village. He then takes this route again, but backwards. Emily must have taken the same route in Emily's New Route for this to work. --- The Station in Thomas Goes Fishing: I think that one should be Suddery. The station has to exist, since we do have a Lower Suddery, so there you go. ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Thomas_Goes_Fishing/Gallery?file=ThomasGoesFishing6.png --- Sodor Ironworks: Also known as "Steelworks", "Smelters Yard", or "Scrap Yards" - I would say there are two facilities, one of which is located south of the Peel Godred Branch, as stated in the video, the other near Callan. One of the two Ironworks at Callan explains why 'Arry and Bert have been shown working on Thomas' Branch Line multiple times: ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Bill,_Ben_and_Fergus/Gallery?file=Bill%2CBenandFergus24.png ttte.fandom.com/wiki/%27Arry_and_Bert/Gallery?file=Percy%27sNewWhistle11.png ttte.fandom.com/wiki/The_Watermill/Gallery?file=There%27sAlwaysSomethingNew8.png The one at Callan has been shown in Scaredy Engines and Fergus Breaks the Rules e.g. The one at Peel has been shown in Stepney Gets Lost and Halloween e.g. --- The construction side in Stepney Gets Lost: I think that could be Abbey Station during construction. --- The Express stops at Maron and Kellsthorpe: Going west towards Vicarstown, we can assume the Express passes through said stations, however towards Knapford it does stop, as shown with Maron in It's Good to be Gordon and Kellsthorpe, as shown in As Good as Gordon. --- The correct Knapford direction: I've seen Tug theorize that returning trains towards Knapford also enter the station through the rear, just like in the CGI Series; I used to doubt that to be the case, as Gordon has been shown to enter the station coming from the east, as seen in the episodes Paint Pots & Queens, Edward the Very Useful Engine and It's Good to be Gordon; However, the more I thought about the matter, I came up with a perfect solution that would fix everything. First of all, as shown in Season 3, the Express sometimes starts - and presumably terminates - at Tidmouth, similar to Thomas' runs, which also start/end at either Knapford or Tidmouth. To remedy the issue of the inconsistent Knapford direction, I would add a line that branches off at Crosby and hugs the coast all the way to south of Knapford, which explains why Gordon enters Knapford coming from either direction. Gordon has been shown to enter Knapford from the south in episodes such as James & the Express and Time for Trouble e.g. The coastal line from Crosby to Knapford is basically just the Main Line as on the Railway Series map. The junction towards the Ffarquhar Branch Line is obviously south of Knapford now and is not sandwiched in between Knapford and Tidmouth, as on Tug's map. Thomas alternating between each station is of course also no longer a thing, he just switches directions at either station and runs back up to Ffarquhar. Crosby Junction: ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Thomas_and_Percy%27s_Christmas_Adventure/Gallery?file=ThomasandPercy%27sChristmasAdventure12.png --- The Main Line Beach: I like the idea of this being on the coastal area between Crosby and Knapford. Its location close to Knapford explains why Thomas sees the beach almost everyday, as stated in Thomas and Skarloey's Big Day Out. ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Seeing_the_Sights/Gallery?file=SeeingtheSights84.png --- The village in Excellent Emily: That could be Kellaby Village: ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Excellent_Emily/Gallery?file=ExcellentEmily35.png Balladrine Village was shown in Three Cheers for Thomas: ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Three_Cheers_for_Thomas/Gallery?file=ThreeCheersforThomas27.png --- The Brendam Docks Coaling Plant: This has been shown in Percy's Chocolate Crunch and Hide & Peep. --- The Coastal Area on the Brendam Canal Branch: This has been shown in episodes such as Salty's Stormy Tale and Saving Edward e.g. ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Salty%27s_Stormy_Tale/Gallery?file=Salty%27sStormyTale44.png ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Saving_Edward/Gallery?file=SavingEdward4.png --- The Old Mine Track: This is somewhere west of Toby's Branch Line, likely between Arlesburgh West and Lower Arlesburgh. ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Fergus/Gallery?file=FergusBreakstheRules35.png --- Arlesburgh West (named "Callandale" in the video): This station is replacing the original placement of Callan on Tug's map and is the closest station to Toby's Branch Line. --- Callan: This station is located between Knapford and Lower Tidmouth, appropriately near the River Callan. In S6, we frequently see Main Line Engines passing through or Gordon picking up his coaches here, as shown in Edward the Very Useful Engine. Additionally to Main Line Engines, Little Western and Ffarquhar Engines are also frequently shown to pass through here, so it's save to assume that this station serves all three lines. One of the scrapyards as mentioned above is also located nearby, as can be deduced in the episode Twin Trouble. Callan Station and Callan Castle are now far away from each other, but this can be explained: The castle is named after it's owner, Lord Callan; The station is named after the river nearby - the same name is just coincidental. --- If there are any questions, critiques or ideas for improvement, please let me know and I'll definitely think about it. But for now, that would be all. Thanks again so much for everything.

Why would none of the churches be canon? Kirk Ronan and Kirk Machan are both named for churches that existed there at some point, the Vicarage Orchard that Trevor works at is likely run by a church, and there is also a church in Elsbridge since Percy brought them home from “Sunday School”, which means church.

Even though you say that TATMR isn’t canon, I have a feeling that Britt Allcroft might say it is. Not that I would consider it canon anyway, but if she said it is, hopefully you’re not gonna add stuff from that movie. While I don’t consider most of the HiT era canon either for obvious reasons, I commend you for trying to make sense of everything in that era. I am planning to make a map combining the model and CGI series at some point since it’s confirmed that they are the same canon, that will be an interesting challenge to say the least.

Unlike the RWS, I feel like Sodor is somewhere else other than in the UK (although I should say that they still have landmarks leading to England) - please do not argue with me
