Omg. You are telling my story. 28 years in IT at an urban catholic institution. I had never been laid off from anything and was in shock for days. Boss was laid off hours before me. They told me I could stay until the new fiscal year, a month away. I barely functioned, but wanted the severance so stayed. Needed to sign an NDA and I did get a year of severance plus unemployment after that. I was 58. It was terrible, but Hillary was running so I put energy into helping out to get her elected. When she lost, I went mute for three days and stayed secluded until my mother left a message threatening a welfare check. Hubby was hunting at the time and I was in a really dark place for the first time in my life. Mom, at 82, was hugely supportive and we developed a really good relationship during this time, which was the blessing. And when she got ill, I was available for her because I did not seek a new job, instead we pinched until I could get Medicare. Anyhow, I was so grateful to be fully available to her in her final years and we made it through financially after all. Everything worked out for us! I am still grateful for that period in my life.

Grief is always with me but my address is my sons favorite number so I know he found this place for us. I get amazing signs from him.

I lost my job as a school secretary during the pandemic as well. I was forced to retire! Between the stress of being scared of covid and losing our income, I ended up with severe Fibromyalgia. To the point where I spent a week at Mayo. With my age and health, I wasn't able to get another job. Fast forward to last month, my husband lost his job along with our health insurance. After looking into getting some health insurance ourselves, we found that we could not afford it. His whole department of 150 people were put on permanent layoff. His manager gave him a tip of another place that does the same job he was currently doing and he started the job immediately without missing a beat. The sad part is he not only was put on late shift but also lost all his vacation time, his flex hours and all the benefits, to now have to start all over at the age of 58. He isn't happy with this new job but at least we have something until he can find something else. In the meantime we can't get sick because his insurance doesn't start until Feb. So hopefully everything will work out for us.

My calico cat Piper was on my lap when you showed Lucy so I let Piper see her too and hear her meow and Piper was laser focused on her, ha. I also have a tortoise shell cat, Fancy, that came almost a year after Piper (the same rescue lady brought me both girls!) and man Piper HATED Fancy at first! Had to keep them in separate rooms and do the whole slow gradual adjustment thing with them both, but now two years later they are frenemies ha, one minute chasing and playing and hanging out together and then oh no,it’s ON and they tie up in a hissing growling fur slapping spat till I holler stop it! Then they stalk off in separate huffy directions and five minutes later they team up together to smack the dog Max in the nose for trying to sniff at them or play with them, ha.

Oh, Karen. How do you always pick things that reach so deeply into my soul? Your story definitely mirrors mine. After teaching at a small private school for 22 years, I knew that it was time to go. I spent that last school year, 2019, knowing that I was resigning and watching everything crumble around me. I couldn’t see my fellow teachers myself, and my students be treated so so badly anymore. I did resign, and I left with no plan or no place to land. I just had to get out. Later in the summer of 2020, I started online teaching, and it has been an amazing and delightful journey that continues to this day. It gives me joy every single day. Now, I’m working up the gumption to start a KZbin channel to support young parents. I know there’s a need, and I just trust that the audience is there. Everything always works out in my favor.❤❤❤ (please disregard any misspellings or bad punctuation as I was using voice to text.😂)

I am constantly amazed with the parallels in our lives. First, I went to visit my sister and brother-in-law just when you were doing the same. I listen to your story about being laid off from your job in higher ed. In 2019, after nearly 25 years at a small college and having served in many positions, I was laid off supposedly for budget reasons. Now, that did not feel like everything worked out. I was going blind but, luckily I had long-term disability then got social security disability and.... Another parallel with you, I went on unemployment. And once the pandemic hit I actually was making more money than I was before and I have been my family soul breadwinner for years so that was a relief. One more interesting thing is you said you worked at a small private Catholic college in Wisconsin. I have worked extensively with some assessment materials from a small private Catholic college in Wisconsin :-) now here is where I'm not sure we're parallel. The last four years have been very tough personally and in my family. Some of it is dark enough I can't say in public but deep in my heart I know that all will work out. Being blind is an incredible trust practice and an incredible mindfulness practice. That I can attest to 🙏❤️🙏

And that’s why I keep telling myself that everything happens for a reason and it’ll all work out because I am going through things right now. Over the last 14 years, my belief in this was reaffirmed time and time again since I changed my mentality to being positive, even when I couldn’t see where my life would lead each time. After on and off struggling to maintain my positive mentality for the last few weeks, all while striving to continuously reminding myself everything happens for a reason, that it’ll all work out and things will end up better than I ever thought possible, I am back to firmly believing it, in large part due to getting reaffirmations of this from multiple channels.

Thank you Karen! I got laid off in 2017 along with 7 other people. While all the other people fled the place, I worked out a deal to work for another 10 months there on contract. So I continued health insurance that they continued to pay into. No vacation benefits, but a huge payout that I just let sit in the bank while I continued working. I feel like I started down the administration and won. They couldn't even look me in the eyes anymore because I had one over on them and they knew it!

No one answered my phone calls but then I knocked on the door of the radio station and they were delighted to see me and we had a great talk. Wanted to visit my childhood home and it just didn't work out yesterday. As I was leaving town we stopped by in the new owners invited us inside and gave us a tour of the house. All worked out perfectly and beautifully. And I had no expectations but I was delighted.

I was reflecting yesterday after work. We had our usual cyber security meeting and every employee should do Their part on reporting suspicious emails and activity because hackers come up with new things every day. I thought of our voting system and how I feel it was hacked. It shows that we have cracks in the system. Maybe, this needed to happen unfortunately to prove it can be hacked. Going forward , our cyber intel can learn and be on more alert for any future attacks. I do pray that they find evidence but whatever the outcome, we are strong and we will get through this together. It will work out for us. Stronger

Love LOVE Abraham and Ester Hicks! It has helped me for over 5 years. Most people’s problem is overthinking it. Reality tends to get in the way of intuition. ❤ Edit: The best way to understand LOA is to understand physics, honestly. Money is currency, currency is energy. Energy can be manifested into anything. The more you live, the more you learn what you don’t want, so you know what you do want. There is enough “pie” for everyone when it comes to this, just not everyone figures it out.

Being genuine. The reason you don't worry about showing off 'bed-head' is because you are one of the rare folk who are genuine. I know a ton of women who wouldn't dare show their face to the world before they put on make-up and style their hair just right. That's because they are portraying an image they want the world to see. You are genuine, what you see is what you get. Fresh out of bed, hello world. This is not a bad thing. Everything always works out for us. I have to agree, because its been my way of life for decades. I have a similar story to yours, but its long and boring and people would probably view it in horror. But I am doing great, no job, no savings, no future vision at the moment. I am staying in my own genuine flow, and truly everything ALWAYS works out for the best. Have a wonderful day and to thine own self be true.

Thank you. I have embraced this approach for many years now. Times have been tough but, I held onto the belief that I would be ok. My family would be ok. I can affirm that indeed, things came through at my most highest time of need. Even being diagnosed with sun auto immune disease timed with the ending of an intense two year program, my dad passing and me moving from Ontario to Vancouver Island to care for my elderly mom with Alzheimer’s. The transitions, I did have to put in the work, happened in a way for me to receive disability and the required health care and be here for mom. That was 16 1/2 years ago. Mom recently turned 99. When I review the sequence of events, it all lined up. Was it stressful at the time, yes. Did I have to do all the things to help it along, yes. It turned out to be the best possible outcome. What we think we want and what we need can sometimes differ. Trust but also put in the insight and work. I wish everyone the very best. I worry about your country and how it is affecting the world but, I trust all will be good. It’s a process. A difficult one, but it will happen. Collective white light and positive energy is powerful. 💖💖
