Meanwhile in Australia, my butt is freezing and we barely have garage sales out and about in my area. I do have a Brotherhood of St Laurence in my area which sell clothing at flat rate prices. In Australian dollars, they sell short sleeve shirts for $5, long sleeve shirts for $7, jackets for $10, pants for $5 (buy one get one free), and shorts for $4 each. My local Brotherhood of St Laurence has board games for $3-$5 each regardless of the condition (they mostly price things by the size not by pound or scanning)

I can tell you shop at thrift stores a lot because you are laser focused on the same items at garage sales. You missed out on a lot of money at the second sale in tools
