I like the community events, makes events actually feel like an event rather than MW3 events where people finish the challenges in less then an hour. I get CC don’t like it because they don’t get to make the first video as everyone starts at the same point

I didn't like the way this current one was treated. The community struggled hard to obtain it all and we only got it with a few days to spare and having to basically commit full time to the game just to earn the rewards which should never be how events should be done. I'm fine with the process of obtaining kills to get the rewards but not if it requires players to work a full shift just to be able to get them. I'm also not fine with it only being really, 2 worthwhile rewards. 1 was easy to get, as in the drill, the siren however, unfair to obtain and also only getting 2 significant things out of it. I think I can speak forost of the community in saying that in comparison of all the rewards from that event, the multiplayer weapons are by far, the most significant and worthwhile to obtain. Most people play multiplayer over any other mode and warzone seems to be in 2nd place with zombies being the back burner of modes. From someone who basically came off bo2 mainly playing zombies and multiplayer, zombies just isn't really interesting and the rewards ain't really anything to bother about. Like OoOo, gobblegums, so cool (not). Tbf, the new elwander weapons is a good plus as well as a new zombies map, for zombies. I just have a feeling that the wander weapons are only significant or are to be used in those maps only. Gone are the days where the raygun was this big thing that everyone wanted from the mystery box as there was only 1 or 2 that can be obtained in any map through the mystery box, now it's just wonder weapons being hidden in maps as secret ways to obtain them and the main wonder weapons for that map, can only be used in that map.

@ I’d say the same for mw3 events where the only interest was a gun/gun mod. So the rewards have always been lacklustre to these standards. The events that are community based allow for players that might not get to play every day, have a chance to contribute. It hasn’t required a “full shift”, you were going to play the same regardless if there was an event 😂There were still solo challenges to earn yourself. + this was the first event of the year. Zombies is fun, I’ve been playing the same as you. I’ve played every map and tbh my friends and I enjoy zombies more when all of us can get a ww. Gobble gums are a good feature idk why you don’t like them. If your issue is rewards with zombies then you must’ve hated the old ones as there were no rewards other than the story.

@Noahstubz well tbh, that's what I prefer for the most part. I think since 2019, emblems and stuff like that, to me, is just pointless additions to fill in the reward system and say you got something. I'm not saying that all or most should be in the reward of an attachment or new gun but I do think that they should be worthwhile rewards, even more so if you and or the community has to work hard to obtain them. I have started using the charms and stickers and decals alot more which is why I see them as more worthwhile as rewards now but, stuff like the gobblegums that you can get for free and the individual reward in the events or unlocking 1 or 2 3 round burst mods for a specific gun, calling cards and stuff like that, are moreless meaningless and people rarely pay attention to stuff like that. It's not stuff people boast about compared to weapon skins and blueprints and cool gun camo designs.

Still semi relevant so no. It's been at a stagnant but still a semi popular thing the whole time, never really dying off. I can see why but to me, it seems a bit desperate for a cod sponsor or partnering or whatever it is. Squid game 2 I think, isn't that far away now, so I'm surprised by it. Could've been far better with anything else that's more relevant atm tho.

I still think that even with this, gobblegums are such a minimal addition to zombies and especially bo6 zombies that they aren't worthwhile enough, especially as event rewards or new ones in new seasons. I understand the edition of gobblegums but being used as part of some reward in updates is so pointless when U can obtain them all for free by playing zombies anyway.

For me personally, I have mixed feelings on what's coming from season 1 reloaded. For starters, I will always welcome a new gun especially when it's a new gun in a category that doesn't have many options right now. My issue, comes from it being another event based item over it just coming in an update. The mere fact that, the community had struggled in the current event to obtain 50b kills just to unlock 1 of 2 of really, the only main important additions to the game being a new gun and melee weapon, if they do something similar again and really put a strain on the community to feel forced to obtain something near impossible, there will likely be problems. I personally ain't fussed when it comes to zombies and the gobblegums however I'm fine with the addition of vulture aid, another hint at next year's game in 2025 being the bo2 remaster of sorts rather than the bo3 one. New maps are fine as well as limited time modes but I personally don't see any point if they don't end up staying for people to play in private matches. Lastly, there being 2 events will mean that we are only getting 1 weapon in 1 event and 2 in the other similar to the current event taking place still. Massive downside imo and shouldn't be done like that. Also the 3 round bursts I can see as near useless along side when dragons breath was added. Unless it's for guns that are in single fire, I can't see a widespread use for it unless the attachments are broken.

I guess more challenges would have been better but I seem to recall players getting upset with that too because there was way too much grinding and conditions to fulfill like "get x amount of kills with said weapon" or "do x amount of finishing moves" and so forth. This seems like a compromise so that everyone ends up getting the rewards. I certainly don't mind it as it's easy to knock out and gain a new weapon XD

It's already been a month and a bit and is already the half season if you run the calculations. In bo6, U can see that there's still about 40 to 50 days left until season 2. That means there's about a month and a half for a half season, every season update. I remember the number being closer to 80 when I 1st played season 1 of bo6. So it's about 40 days or more per half season. Just over a month and a half per major update. Minor updates are either weekly or bi weekly.

It just feel like it's going fast lately and not just the seasons everything feels fast months years this 2025 will be over before we know it and then the call of duty will be coming out. LOL The yearly cycle just has to go though. I mean if you think about it, the new call of duty coming out next year will be a DLC cuz all the weapons and blueprints will probably transfer over and the engine is going to be on the same engine just like call of duty modern warfare 3 whereas just like model worker too unless they change things really drastically. But I highly doubt it. I mean it's supposed to be in a future setting. I just hope they fix the game. Fix the net code. The servers and people saying it's skill-based damage. I don't really know. That really can't be proved but if they have like a 2 to 3-year cycle that would give them enough time to actually work on each game and give us content for game. That actually works. I'm just tired of these broken games and then it takes like 3-4 weeks for one update to be fixed and then by the time it's fixed some new season reloaded is coming out and then it releases broken and then that new season really comes out. It's all crazy. It's wild this game's wild

@KingOfKings89-89 I've just found out that, when you become an adult, you get so much free time, unless you take that time up, that things just go faster because there's either nothing to do or U just find things to take up that time which is why it flies by. Some think i cook for dinner now, which I never used to cook my dinners when I was a teenager, can take like an hour or more. Time flies by on the cooking part because I'm using that time to do something and I'm enjoying the process of making and then eating my dinner. I play countless hours still on games and time flies by cause I'm sat there grinding for something, like the current event for the malstrom shotgun in bo6, or I'm just chilling on games that either take up alot of my time, have a long grindey or slow process to it or I'm playing with a community of people and chilling out, having fun. When I was working, time always went slow because there wasn't really time to have any fun and I didn't enjoy it with the added pain of muscles and back being in pain from standing for too long, always being tired. I was there for the money and didn't have much time to myself after work. I was either too tired all the time or had to still do other things. So time was slower due to that.

@KingOfKings89-89 also, just picking apart Ur comment to separate it into smaller replies myself. From what treyarch are making out, next year's cod is very likely the bo2 remaster. At full prestige and level 1000, U unlock Samuels which is a bo2 side character from the campaign. To add onto that, season 1 reloaded is also bringing in vulture aid, also a bo2 zombies perk from where it was 1st introduced. They are hinting alot at the next game likely being that with all these secrets and they wouldn't just put it in casually, if it didn't heavily hint at something related to bo2. Also, very happy that they bring hacienda back as a map. Apparently to them this is a medium sized maps but with the slower movement especially compared to the bo4 movement, where the map originated from and also being another slight bo2 hint, it's really the 1st and likely only, large map that will be in the game. I loved bo4 and hacienda was one of my favourite maps. Also really good to know all of the sneaky flanking spots that most others don't know due to not many people liking or have played bo4. It came and went quick as a game due to the hate for the game since it's launch so it's nice to have a free advantage.

@KingOfKings89-89 last thing Ill pick at from your comment to reply to is that I agree with community, which is rare for me, in that, the servers and all that are dog water. I'm playing on old gen and after all this time, they've still not done anything about the consistent stutters, massive frame drops, server connection issues, the rubber banding which others can see in best plays and the many massive issues the old gen consoles are running into 24 7. Luckily for me, I've been so used to all this growing up since I was a child, all the old frames, playing on a box TV, bad graphics and all that, I can still consistently manage a top 3 and often a best play despite this. Just feels like they are tryna neglect fixing the issues, especially for old gen players.

Likely next year's cod honestly. The fact they are adding vulture aid back to zombies in bo6 season 1 reloaded says to me it's yet another nod to next year's game being the bo2 remaster. They'd likely put back in transit after knowing how many people are asking for it's return, for that game. We technically got town in bo6 in the form of liberty falls but I think they deliberately made it less faithful to what town is meant to look like, maybe due to making a proper version for the next game.
