Ep 22 was so good, Marcille piloting the familiar by flapping her arms while being carried, and that flopping around on the ground to fly the eel familiar, omg i really cracked up. Shes great.

Aldo fun fact about thd nightmares at 4:50. Way back in episode one with the tart, Marcille was the only one to have nightmares. They've been plaguing her the whole time.

I love how ep 23 explains why senshi was so protective of Chilchuk (when he thought he was a kid) and that line he had a while back “the Young’ins need to be fed!!!!”

You didn't win it, so I'm not sure whether you noticed, but when Izutsumi was added to the group, they actually started including her as a group member in the opening sequence of each episode. It's a nice small addition that many might miss when they routinely skip the opening. The paintings in the background during Marcille's dream sequence actually tell a huge amount about her past and her dreams, if you look closely enough. Not gonna spoil what they say, but it's very interesting upon close inspection. The behavioural change in Izutsumi in the "village" is another interesting aspect, though that one is more directly pointed out in the series. It stems from her being semi-human and semi-creature, which meant that the spell that keeps the beasts in line is having a partial effect on her.

I can't say anything about the Japanese voice actor, but Sungwon Cho did the voice for all of kid Senshi, Elf Senshi, and normal Senshi in the English dub, I'm pretty sure.

Ha really I'm so happy this show has already a S2 announced. And as you said it'd probably be the last one as the manga is over and S1 cover more than half of it. So yeah, not always we're blessed enough to have well done (get the cooking pun ? xD) shows with a conclusive end in view. Hyped for that. And as usual thanks for the video !

According to MAL, Senshi is voiced by Hiroshi Naka, who has also voiced Garp in One Piece, Gamabunta in Naruto and Sasha's father in Attack on Titan.

Episode 19 saved the show for me. From the very beginning, I mostly bounced off the series because I just found Laios to be an _intensely_ unlikable character, to the point that I couldn't even appreciate any of his genuinely well-done moments because my view was so tainted by my first impression. Then the dream sequence happened, and for the rest of the series anytime Laios did anything that irked me in any way, all I had to do was shake my fist at the screen and yell "No! Bad dog!", and then I'd feel better and could go about my business.
