To me, the biggest jawdrop was when Tanjiro used Thunderclap and flash. Was a badass moment and went full circle to how the sun breathing he uses is the root of other forms, including thunder

A lot of people hated that moment saying it was an as*spull but what they all forgot is that Sun Breathing is the first created original form. All other breathings came from Sun Breathing so it makes sense that Tanjiro is able to use the basics of other breathing styles if he gets a detailed explanation on how they work. This in return also allows him to master Sun Breathing to an even higher level because he is leaning the bits that didn't get passed down or got lost at some point during the 300+ years his family kept the breathing style alive.

While I didn’t dislike him using Thunderclap, your comment makes me like a lot more because I forgot all forms are derived from Sun Breathing. Plus nobody ever said that it wasn’t possible to learn another style. It’s just whatever the user feels more comfortable using. Tanjiro initially was using water breathing techniques so it never bothered me.

She moves like a rhythmic gymnast with a ribbon. Only the ribbon is her sword. It's such a cool idea for a weapon. I used to compete as a rhythmic gymnast and that ribbon is very difficult to master.

It's actually not an idea it's a real life weapon but it's not known well because very few people have been able to use it without harming themselves

The only reason I know it’s a real fighting style and has weapons made like this for that style is because one of my friends had a character in D&D that fought like this. Always stuck out as a sick as hell concept for fighting, and also made sense to me because whips are also a thing, so being able to utilize a rope/ribbon like weapon isn’t too strange.

oh, mitsuri and rengoku sharing the same vibes is no coincidence XD. she was actually one of the only students of his who got through his harsh training in the rengoku gaiden, a sidestory about how rengoku became a hashira. so yes, the two of them were once student and teacher turned close friends!!!

The best part of season 3 for me was the love Hashira. And this time it was for actual plot. When i first saw her i was 10000% sure it was gonna be some twist on the love part like obsession or something. The simple fact that she was raised with love and despite a few idiots in her life she simply wanted to help others and not because her family died or something. Shes a pure cinnamon bun if i ever saw one. I also love the fact that at first it looks like she uses a light flexible sword only to then realize that the sword is solid steel and only bends like a ribbon because of her absurd strength.

I'll be honest, it was nice to see that Hantengu and Gyokko were just pure evil demons for once. Don't get me wrong, I love the tragic backstories of Rui, Daki, and Gyutaro, but it was starting to get predictable that they'd give the demons sympathetic backstories. Not this time. Sometimes an evil thing is just an evil thing.

It's interesting that you mention getting the same feeling from Mitsuri that you got from Rengoku because, fun fact, Rengoku was her mentor in becoming a Hashira. It was covered in a side novel. Also, secondary fun fact, her Love breathing is an offshoot of fire breathing that she developed also in the side novel.

Something that needs to be said is how absolutely ham voice actors can go with their range. I couldn’t believe that gyokko and mista shared a VA!! I love those videos for how you bring attention to the other well know roles of these voices that people like me don’t realize!👏👏

It's all in proper use of the diaphragm, which is one reason I can't stand dubs. English VAs almost never use their diaphragms, so they can almost never put real emotion into it. They do "stage" emoting, getting volume but no depth.

They hate it bc they think it’s weirdly paced and deus ex machina. While pacing is definitely subjective and understandable, the “deus ex machina” is just kinda what the manga goes. As an adaptation, it’s extremely faithful so there’s not much you can do about the plot. I didn’t really care for gyokko anyways

For something as a small, lightweight fighter with "mist" in his style, having those delicate, almost musician-like fingers, fits perfect with his personality when the past season we had the musclebound, bombastic sound Hashira.

This season definitely had some of my favourite moments in all of demon slayer. Muichiro is my favourite hashira right now and the way he annihilated gyokko was incredible to watch. Mitsuri was also a really likeable and cool character, but most of all seeing tanjiro's growth has been the highlight of the season. Can't wait for the Hashira training arc!

I love the fact that each version of Hantengu is voiced by a different VA. The attention to detail to make every variant feel unique all the way down to the voice is just really nice. I also appreciate the lack of those horrible fish monsters and their awful moaning. I hated every scene they were in.

I would suggest... His ability to detect oncoming attacks after going on without food and water is a callback to first season when it was mentioned that the Hasira's have trained themselves to death and then defied death. Same with Tanjiro, he started crossing into afterlife (to death) and defied death (attack detection).

What I really liked about Muichiro is that in the beginning his memories were misty and not clear, connecting this to him being the *mist* hashira, but later on, after "waking" up, the mist from his memories disappeared. I find this really interesting and I love this detail about his character.

I love everything about mistreating the effects are absolutely amazing but also the explanation behind it how Tokito wears this really baggy clothing and moves in these particular ways so that the opponent can't read his movements and that shows up in this form of haze and mist

Win 71 13:16. I really like this one because idk if he knows this, but Mitsuri is the student (Tsugoku) of Rengoku and that he was able to see that through the incredible character that was crafted for her! Win 294 at 1:54:50, the Mark is a special ability that can be awakened by demon slayers that have been inspired by those who have already awakened it and are in a life threatening situation (season 2, Tanjiro Awakens it due to Yorichi's past with his family and the fact he is dying from blood lose and poison from Gyutaro's weapons), Tanjiro passes the ability to both Muichiro and Mitsuri during season 3 now. This also means that Rengoku and Tengen could not have awakened it due to Tanjiro not awakening it at those times.

Also gotta love how, while Tanjiro is always willing to empathize with his enemies, he never gives them more than they deserve. In the case of Hantengu, all he deserved was “atone for your sins with your life!!!”

Adding in a sneaky win: Upper 4's memories are played back to him like they're on old film, rather than the typical foggy / ethereal effects we usually get, implying that even in his memories he's adding a layer of detachment from blame and consequences, since those things weren't real, weren't him~ They were just a movie~

I also really like the clean up crew part. It makes it seem like an actual organisation and makes it more well thought out. It also allows people who don’t have sword skills help. I really like how people with different strengths can help, shinobu and Genya are good examples of this.

ive read the entire manga so i knew what was going to happen, but it was still such an amazing watch and everything somehow still felt new to me. also, about Mitsuri radiating Rengoku's energy- She was actually mentored by him! he taught her Flame breathing but it didn't exactly work for her, so he suggested she try making her own style. Thus, Love Breathing was born. Derived from Flame Breathing, it focuses on the user's raw strength instead of flashy techniques.

When people complain that Gyokko is too weak to be Upper 5, I think about this: 1. Gyokko is messing around, having fun. The same reason DIO didn't win in JoJo part 3. DIO could've killed all of the crusaders, probably within two timestops, but he was having fun. 2. Gyokko is an artist. He may have been a weirdo obsessed with killing children and stuffing them in pots, but an artist nonetheless. He's not going to go on a rampage like Gyutaro. He's careful. 3. A way to fully show the insane power boost obtained by getting a mark. We saw it when Tanjiro first got his, and was able to behead Gyutaro. 4. Muichiro is a descendant of... someone related to Yoriichi. Who was a Sun Breath user. Nobody else is blood related to him, and Yoriichi had no heirs. The closest thing we have is Tanjiro, who's ancestor was friends with Yoriichi. Once Muichiro was introduced to a blade, he already had the motivation (confusion and rage), and it just came to him naturally.

This Arc contains so much win.... 1. More fuel for my headcanon that Dororo is the secret origin story of the Demon Slayer Corps (Yorichi Type 0) 2. Mitsuri "THICC Thighs Save Lives" bringing badassery so hard the SAO soundtrack jumped in. Built Different? HECK YEAH! 2. Genya joining the "if I can eat it I can Win" Club with Maple, Kumoko, and Rimiru. (with 'MURICA Breathing Bonus) 3. Tokito awakening his Full Kenobi Roast powers to go Savage Batman on Gyokko. 4. Hantengu getting Muzan Co Employee of the month for validating the Dayw.alker plot

@@AnimeWins that’s the way they like to do a lot of content creators sadly. I think you’ve said it and I’ve heard it from others, but I wish that they would realize how much this kind of content puts people on to anime and hypes it up even more than it could’ve already been.

Well, I don't Usually comment that Much (even if I begin to do it more but whatever...) but I just wanted to say a few things to this channel. First, A big Thank you. Thanks to you, I discovered some great Animes like That time I've got Reincarnated as a Slime, Spy X Familly, Iruma-Kun. So I must thank you for not just the videos which ARE entertaining but Also for the pleasure I had In front of these animes I would probably not watch without you. Second, Demon Slayer is indeed a great Show. I love lot of characters, It's agonizing every time they seem to be close to win but nope (until they really win, that's it) : Rui who survived being decapitated, Akaza who just RIPPED his hands to escape a dying Rengoku (even if it was the sun he escaped but still, what a LEGEND) and Watching your videos about what makes a scene Great is a bliss! Third, just a sidenote but Oh god you cannot imagine how happy I am for someone mentionning the great Trails Saga! I love these games and I find it a Shame that it's not more popular... All in All, I love your Vids and if I could support you, I would. A shame that I cannot afford it...

I agree with you! People complaining that this season wasn’t as good as the previous one or other stuff. Hello! It can’t all be the same level. Last season was entertainment district, all flashiness and savage battle with Gyutaro. I think this season was more establishing and advancing lore. Still some excellent fight scenes.
