Veldora is tsundere only for the time when he meets Rimuru in cave. Because he didnt meet any living being or someone he could talk with so basically he didnt want Rimuru to go. But then later on Veldora gets out of the prison skill. He is then very prideful and is doing the role of that one very strong prideful stupid guy. He is like Millim but less hostile and more prideful. So yeah very SUPREME being he is.

Veldora is a Tsundere for Rimiru. as well as the star wolves, and the minister, and gazel dwargo, and gabiru, and the ogres, and bascially every character except for the goblins. the ENTIRE show revolves around Tsundere.

Probably my favorite thing about this anime is how damn near all the worldbuilding is trying SO hard to be dark and serious, but then Rimuru comes along and makes it all wholesome just by being a really nice person. The way he just blobs in and casually improves the lives of everyone is just so friggin' delightful. XD

Probably because he does some really dumb noob shit sometimes. Like sit around in a room and get all of his advice from Ogres & Goblins that have never left Jura forest, instead of milking dry all of the world information he could from the over 2,000 year old demon lord he had living with him in Milim that has seen basically everything the world has to offer. Seriously, they don't even have her train them in fighting until after Charybdis, and she levels them up quite a bit in skill.

@@randumo24 You know, even though Milim is old, that doesn't mean she knows everything. She is a child at heart and her purpose/goal is essentially to live the way she likes, which is to have fun. She is smart, but in't like Rimuru that thinks logically. Heck she didn't even know food could taste good when you cook it, because she eats literal raw vegetables. She refused to interact with humans because of their short lifespans. She owns territories, but doesn't mean she governs it, so she has no ideas how cities/countries work. She's knowledgeable about demon lords, but they aren't buddies or friends. And to keep the power balance, they have an unspoken rule that they are not to interfere with each other. Also, In terms of knowledge, Ramiris is a much more dependable source, though even her knowledge is mostly just on spirits and spirit engineering. As for the fact that Rimuru didn't ask for Milim to train them, it's pretty obvious. Rimuru never wanted conflict. He is a pacifist and says/proves it on multiple occasions. It's not about being a noob, or anything of the like, its just his personality to deal with things as the come. To quote, "If you think about it too much, you lose." and "No one can really tell what happens in the future, so I'll deal with it once it's here." or something along those lines. Don't forget, he was almost 40 years old when he died. He wasn't some hikikomori or degenerate otaku, or an inexperienced/naive kid; in this sense him and Ainz are similar. Their only difference is that Rimuru knows about the awful sh*t that happened in history and refuses to make the same mistakes. All the wars and conquest just to prove one's power. The lives lost in those wars, the grief and sorrow, he knows and understands it, which is why he refuses to use force unless necessary. In Overlord, Ainz ceased being human and accepted it, whereas in TenSura, Rimuru ceased being human, but decided that he will retain his humanity. In this sense, I agree more with Rimuru, since his approach is much more likely to have a better outcome and yeild better results. I believe that loyalty and trust doesn't come from fear, but admiration. I do like both shows, though, in different ways. I think it's best not to compare since they are both vastly different and good at the same time.

NadlieHime 1814 Well, ainz doesn’t really have the option of going “nice.” All of the now turned real npc were originally evil aligned creatures and retained that trait. They look up to ainz as the ultimate evil overlord and expect that from him. Meanwhile ainz has not been left untouched by the transformation either. With this context in mind, although they share some similarities, it’s inevitable that rimuru and especially ainz evolved the way they did.

In regards to episode 5 and thee trial, I love how this show is one of the few that actually sticks the landing with a villain self-destructing. The King allows the trial to go through (I think because technically the dwarf did break the law no matter the reason and it's established that the no-fighting rule is strictly enforced), but shuts down the jerk since he knows that he provoked the dwarves and rigged the trial against them.

"love how they're spending time with the cave, and not just rushing through it" -> proceeds to cram three _months_ worth of wandering and exploration into a couple of minutes (pretty sure it was originally about 90 days before Great Sage figured out how to talk to Rimuru properly, too, so pretty much half a year? In two episodes? :P). Gotta admit, a little disappointed that Rimuru roundhouse kicking Gobta didn't get a win; that part was funny as heck. Shion -> whelp, can't wait to see your thoughts on Season 2 when _that_ comes out. Also, I actually find myself kinda liking Gabiru, as ridiculous as that sometimes sounds; he's not actually a bad leader, properly leveraging his advantages and using decent tactics and strategy to fight battles; he's just ignorant. He doesn't know about the Orc Lord's trait, but when he does notice, he immediately switches strategy to a full on defense, prioritizing the safety of all his troops, even the goblins who can't handle this new level of combat, even if doing so puts his side at a disadvantage, and owns up for mistakes by trying a one-on-one potential sacrifice play in an effort to protect his men to keep them from throwing their lives away in a losing battle. He's just also an over-dramatic egoistic idiot at the same time. Which tends to annoy the crap out of me. Its an interesting dynamic.

10:37 is such a great scene. It uses the hand drawn art style to make you think that it is childish and, because the adventurers and their attacks are drawn the same way, you also see them as childish. But Rimuru is drawn with his imposing wolf form, which portrays him m as being much more mature and above them.

I'd more add a win in the part where Benimaru accepts Rimuru's deal to serve under him. It proves that while it stung for him, he admitted his weakness as a leader, which makes him a strong one. And another win in the fact that Rimuru named Benimaru and his squad after they joined, and it wasn't something Rimuru teased at beforehand, but he gave the names as a form of payment. He is genuinely happy with them tagging along and wanted them to feel welcome too, and not regret the decision to join him.

I follow the Shinto tradition, and this specific anime is perhaps THE most Shinto anime I've ever seen. Rimiru, and how he interacts with the world around him, is very much in line with the philosophy (do no harm if at all possible / respect and value life / the needs of others outweighs one's own desires). It's just amazing. This is, I think my favourite anime.

A lot of people think it was Shizu that's supposed to be Ran's destined one-but that wasn't the first person the orb showed- they over look the younger girl in the vision first and mistakenly focus on Shizu. Even Ran mistakes Shizu for his fated partner not even realizing the little girl with long black hair is the one he's supposed to end up with as his destined one.

What was keeping her fresh was Ifrit which slowed her aging. Shizue herself is actually 70 years old. But since Rimiru took Ifrit she slowly died to her own age.
