And then they fall over, and Kuromu needs to go to the infirmary to take care of them for a bit, and irumi takes over for a while. Maybe?

Iruma-kun is just that kind of anime that makes you happy. Cute and fluffy with just enough hints of plot to keep you there and- OOPS now i'm stuck rewatching it yet again edit: fun fact, in the manga the author confirms that Kirio has two secret rooms. One for villaining and one for making pickles.

anime and manga with that efect are called "Iyashikei" - healing anime. iruma kun is a mix of comedy / isekai and Iyashikei, other anime like this that i watched from recent times are "restorant from another world", kami tachi hirowareta, and tenchi sozou desing. recomend all of those!

The manga is incredibly popular in Japan, in top sales up there with Jujitsu Kaisen and One Piece and Spy X Family without falling back down after the hype is over. It's frustrating that the anime isn't bigger in the US (or that there's no official English publisher that has picked it up after 27 volumes). Anything spreading the word about how great the series is makes me eager for it to break out soon.

also something about background characters and consistency is that Clara's mom used to be a demi dol and its show to us very casually with no mention to it. dont remember which episode its in. but this could help explain why claras family in particular have so many music numbers

Me, I always thought that Kirio had it all wrong. His joy at her expression likely came from the fact he was no longer alone, there was someone else out there feeling the same despair he had been feeling for so long... and misery loves company and all that. But that's just my take on it. Also really hope there's a S2 vid, coming down the line, just have to wait and see.

This show juggles so many plates and somehow has time to fit in character moments for all 13 misfits, Ameri, Sullivan and the teachers, Opera, and the villains. Incredible.

This series is turning out to be one of my favorite manga/anime of all time, it's just so unexpectedly good and it just keeps on being that. Also just how so many female characters are top waifu material, and so many male characters being top husbando material, and then there's Iruma who is both.

Watching this makes me so hyped for season 3 this Fall! The fact this show has had two cours for every season makes the story a lot more interesting to follow since you get a better view on how the story is progressing. Thank you for the video!

The next season will probably be one whole arc with the Harvest Festival.

@@alexiosblake9804 probably more, but the 2 cour will be longer too. Season 2 was 21 episodes, 3 shorter than the standard 2 cour. Usually each season adapted 4 arcs too. by that logic, It'll adapt Training arc, Harvest festival, Music Festival, and Devidol games.

One season is not enough. If they truly were to do this they would only rush and skip stuff, and that's no good.

Ahhhhh part 2 at last! Yesssss! KZbin can't stop Iruma wins. I really like the scene with Sabro and the Demon King Battler b/c by his design you'd peg him as a big jock type who'd go for a more athletic Battler but no, he just a big nerd obsessed with the Demon King. Plus he just looks so funny being this huge, muscle hulk surrounded by all these tiny bookish nerds. OH, a fun fact about them misunderstanding what a 'date' is. There's a Sukima that was, sadly, never adapted for the anime (it would have gone in s2)but the blond student council member and the glasses wearing one making a comment to Iruma that they 'need to get ready for their date'. Cue Iruma being *very* confused, since he, obviously, understands a date to be something *very* different. Man, that moment when, after firing Pandoroola it has Iruma sprout wings just, looks so cool. Just, gets me right there.

i can’t believe i’m two weeks late to the video, but i suddenly remember when i’m rewatching the anime again. this arc of the battlers is so much fun and the first look of an opposing force against our sunshine boy. i’m really happy you watched the extra ending scenes at the end of the episodes. they continue to be adorable and fun every single time. the last scene in the last episode made me so hooked onto the story that i jumped into the manga and just Grin at all the scenes in season two. looking forward to season 2’s review!

Ngl, i was just trying to get away from boredom when the anime aired so I watched it. I didnt know that I will be huge fans after S1, then I proceed checking the manga, that S2 comes and this show has become my top 5 series all the time. The manga details are just pure chef, and the anime greatly capture and work harder by adding extra content/panels on the show which I was super happy to see! All the arcs in the manga are just pure masterpiece in term of story, character explorations, and pacing. It is not like 90% of shows where side chara will not getting any spot! This manga is not only about iruma, but all of his classmates! All of them get proper spotlight, and the author knows how to utilize them! You will get it once the Harvest Exam, Music Exam, and Heartbreaker exam arc animated! GOD, the Heartbreaker arc rn is SO INSANEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I ENJOY IT TOO MUCH!!!!

Man, when I think that season 1 was just the start and that season 2 is ( in my mind ) even better and knowing what will likely be happening in season 3 since i'm reading the manga, it's impressive how Iruma is able to keep going further without even being a little bit less entertaining or epic. the best thing that I forgot to mention upon my initial watch of this video is that, at 26:37, when all the teachers are being cool and intimidating, the succubus teacher literally just takes off a white coat to reveal her normal outfit. She even stands in the same pose afterwards for the shot of the teachers surrounding Kiriwo. Everyone is imposing and she just does.... that. Absolutely hilarious!
