I'm also sensitive to metals, I've never heard of another person who also breaks out from 'nickel free' metals! It sucks so much. I've found sterling silver is safest for me which is weird, gold is not since even 14 ct can have nickel in it. The leather mug is so pretty!

i played so much of the original neopets growing up... so many storylines, guilds, so many games of Armada lol. I introduced my son to it when I realized it was still around and sometimes we still play a bit.

I'm the same with jewelry/metal. It started after I got my ears pierced for my 15th b-day. After they healed I wore some cheap "silver" earrings & my ears wept & scabbed for a year until I finally gave up & let them heal. About 20 years ago I found Simply Whispers nickel free jewelry & repierced my ears usung a piercing kit from them. I am fine with 18 karat gold or gold plated silver but yeah, even stainless steel will give me welts. For a long time I always had a rash from the metal buttons on jeans & my bras. Luckily I think manufacturers went nickel free on most clothing since it's no longer an issue. I only buy frech hook earrings that I can easily change out to be gold. Studs are more of a problem. I had to be very creative with jewelry as a teen & macramed many necklaces or used a leather thong & beads. I'm always on the hunt for non metal necklaces/chokers. I now own quite a collection of broaches, pins, scarves & decorative belts since I couldn't wear jewelry for many years. You can take any broach or pin & make it a choker with fabric & ribbon :)

Don't worry about the ocarina, I went to a big fantasy festival this last weekend and now I'm learning the harp, which will be way more annoying for my family! And yes, for $80, you should absolutely expect hypoallergenic posts?? $80!

@@AnnieN99 it's possible. I imagine it would be quite hard to verify it for yourself without some sort of toolkit, but maybe the seller needs to invest in that. I have metal allergies too and they're no joke- my piercings get so angry and swollen they bleed

As an ocarina player for over a year: That ocarina is their hobbit design (I've been wanting it lol). When it comes to your playing: don't give up! Work on breath pressure, and look for tutorials! STL is great, but their tabs can be hard to read at first. David Erick Ramos has a great yt channel to learn to play songs like Concerning Hobbits and just play the ocarina in general!!! Have fun with it! Its a beautiful instrument and its a joy to play when you get it down :D

I was so impressed. My husband even liked it and he hates thrifting 😂 the cashier said they’re not all like that but I wanna look around for myself because I’m used to the trashiest goodwills that smell like pee and with clothes thrown all over the floor so I’m sure their “not as nice” ones are still better than what I’m used to 😂

Years ago I found a Neopet plushy on the street. A little yellow dog (?). It became my cat's favorite toy ever. He carried it around and played with it constantly. I discovered later it was a Happy Meal toy. And that's my Neopet story. The End.

I have the same problem with metals! I can wear platinum, gold and sterling silver for very short periods. So not many fun earrings for me either. Love the leather mug! Can you drink out of it or is it just for looks? Very cool!

Beautiful rosebud earrings. Shame that they irritate your ears. Have you tried coating them in antihistamine cream? I do that with a couple of pairs of earrings I have which severely upset my ears and as long as I make sure that the cream covers the whole wire I can wear them for about five to six hours before having to reapply the cream. One of my friends also uses clear nail polish to coat the wires to prevent irritation.
