I’ve done this before, use really good glue and it will last a lifetime. I turned the rolling paper packaging into awesome looking magnets. I just went to Japan in September so I have recent numbers! Roundtrip airfare was about $1500 for me from the western US. Hotels averaged us about $130 a night for 3-4 star places close to major metro stations. From there it’s up to how much you think you’ll spend on food, experiences, and souvenirs. Tickets to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea were about $65 for a single day. Food was very affordable and if you’re from the US, the exchange rate is still favorable rn so a dollar goes far.
