We rent one room in another familys home so we are seriously lacking on space. Our daughter is turning 3 in feb and we are really learning her personality and what she likes. We got her an outdoor play house and duplos, secondhand. She got tricycle accessories from and a cash register from her grand parents.

Delilah I wanted to tell you I pinched your arts & crafts caddy idea for my 4/5 year old daughter last year and it was the most special present she’s ever opened (or uncovered - I threw a sheet of tissue paper over it)! When our child had his first christmas, we gave him a photo album made of soft fabric with (exchangeable) photos of his family members. He still loves the book to this day :)

Love this……I have 3 boys now 20-18-16…..it’s tradition to get Lego for Christmas and start it on Boxing Day. So this year it’s a chess set, Concorde and Mustang car. My youngest is definitely a “William”…..all about cars- still is.

I’m glad that you’re a minimalist but you don’t restrict your kids by saying “no plastic toys” or “only handmade toys” because wooden handmade toys are beautiful but sometimes kids just want something plastic or bright and I love how you don’t completely exclude those things but when you do include them it’s thoughtfully and intentionally

My 6 children got gifts for each other, and the rest we chose. I typically love to gift similarly as possible. If one child gets a book, the others will get a book and so on. This year I also made sure to gift them individually based on their non-screen interests. I made a baking set for my son who likes to bake, a sewing kit for my child who wants to sew, etc.

I havent watch your channel since January. I was trying to get pregnant for a long time, and you had William, and then in January when anounced another pregnancy I found out I was pregnant. But then I had my 5th miscariage. You then said that is was ok for me to unsubscribe for a little bit because all of your new content would be regarding pregnancy. And I did. Almost a year later I thought I could handle this video that is not about pregnancy or baby related. I cannot describe the joy of seeing a vlog of your again! HI Delilah! First, I love your channel. I have a suggestion for kids to know that Christmas is not all Santa and reindeer. When my kids were very small, I used to bake a cake (just a box cake) and after church on Christmas Eve I would put candles on it, light them and we would sing Happy Birthday to baby Jesus. My kids are adults now and they still remember that! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family.

My three year old is getting quite a few practical items this year that I know he is going to LOVE and I cant wait to see him open! He is getting a couple knive sets for cooking, sissors and a real vacuum (he uses his play vacuum to vacuum with me every time I vacuum). Plus a duplo set, crane, and some play food, other loves of his. He too isn't interested in flashy noisy toys (trucks are the exception), so I went with practical and open ended. I'm most excited to see him open the vacuum!

As you are sustainable, i have a suggestion: Instead of buying the duplo train set, you should expand the ikea set for William. Brio and Hape are compatible with the ikea traintracks and there are so many options. The Trainstation that can record voices is a hit in our house. Our daughter is almost 8 years old she still loves playing with it and expect an expansion for Christmas. I love your gift guides.

Nice to see what other mamas are gifting their kids. Some cool ideas 😊 I have 2 girls aged 3 and 12. We're on a very tight budget but I decided to get them a few small gifts each. I made them both framed art prints with Scriptures on them, I also made them for all my nieces. I got my 3 year old a wooden tea set, a picnic set & some slime. I got my 12 year old a journal, hair accessories, and some photos and pegs to put on her wall, and a miniature bedroom kit (she loves miniatures) And then we're going to the zoo after Christmas so that's their final gift. It's summer during Christmas where I live 😅

I come from a blended holiday family so for my own kids I do 8 gifts a piece. 7 medium or small and 1 large. That is because even though we we open them for Christmas each gift represents a night of Hanukah. I try to buy gift like you do but I must say you seem more successful than I.
