I’m in agreement with you about the pants. As I have got older I realize how precious my time is and want to use it wisely. Perhaps the needle size for the brown sweater is too small. That yarn combo shouldn’t be hard on your hands. ?

Yes exactly! The trousers would sure be nice but maybe just not worth my time and effort. You are so right, our time is precious ❤ I think you are right about the needle size. I needed to size down to get gauge for the test knit but maybe the combo just doesn't work for me. I'll have to think about what to do about that 😅
