So many makes, lessons, adventures and new friends. It was so great to meet you this year and follow along your journey. I’m looking forward to the next year of trying new things and getting better at the craft! You’re keeping me great company today as I’m alone in the office!

Thanks, Marlene, for creating your inspirational and informative content. I do think that the Ankers Summer T and Harlow V have got to go on my list! Happy 2024!

You've made so many gorgeous knits! I would love to see a video about your stash and the plans you have for it. I'm floating between wanting a stash and not wanting to get overwhelmed. The last months I bought a lot of sweater and t shirts quantities, I have specific plans for it, but I don't have a lot of room to store it. Can't wait for part three and I also would love to follow your crochet journey! I started dipping my toes into crocheting last year and I quite like it! Especially for amigurumi gifts, but I think it's also great for decoration! I would love to get inspired with crochet garment patterns, because I just love making things I can wear. I feel like crochet uses a different kind of concentration than knitting, so I quite like it every ones in a while. Knitting can be very mindless, but crochet can be very mindfull, at least that's how it works for me.

You know what? I think a grey lilac would suit you so well! You said you will try to step out of your comfort zone a little bit more colourwise, too. I would recommend this colour as you have quite a cool complexion. 🧶

Hi Marlene. Congratulations on your success in 2023 and more to come in 2024! You are so very talented. I too have the same goal about test knitting. Only take a test on if I want the garment and have the time/desire/bandwidth to take it on. As you say, knitting should make you happy, not stressed. Anyway, I love your podcast and looking forward to Part 3 and to see what's in store for 2024. All the best, Maria ❤❤❤

Do not feel bad about the crochet struggles! I tried to learn in 2017 and it just did not make sense to my brain. I started knitting in 2022 and everything just made sense. It all makes sense to my brain lol. Crochet still doesn't click with me. Thank you for another amazing video!

One of my intentions/goals for 2024 is also to knit less! It was great to see all your knitting from this year. I always love your pattern and color choices and your voice and attitude is so calming. Thanks for keeping me company while I work on some mittens 🥰

A beautiful selection of projects for 2023. I also have a goal of less knitting for 2024 and make sure the items knit have a purpose or a use. I also need to go through my stack of finished items and gift them or donate them as there is no point in it sitting. Maybe some could be frogged and use the yarn for something else or just instead of buying more yarn. Learning to crochet is a great goal. Crochet has come a long way from the years old granny squares. I muddle through it but it is not something I am strong in. Wonderful video.

Totally understand the struggle to part ways with knits that don't make you happy. I've knitted a top last summer with small needles and it took me so long as well, but it turned out way to big, the gauge is loose and I don't like how it looks that way. Will be frogging it this spring and try again in summer 😅 However, beautiful knits!

I liked the Killiney Blouse a lot. Couldn’t find on Ravelry. Do you know if the pattern is available yet? Thank you! (Brilliant idea with the duplicate stitching to balance pooling!)

I enjoyed seeing your knits. I tend to use similar colors for my knits. Love that pillow. I have that pattern in my ravelry favorites! What’s the difference between the Italian bind off and tubular bind off? I always thought they were the same. I would love the Marco Polo if you don’t have anyone to pass it on to
@marleneknits

The tubular bind off has these set up rows and the Italien bind off is just the last step of that too, a sewn bind off ☺️ I have already sold it to another person unfortunately, but thank you so much for your interest and kind comment :)
