Not to take away from the many, many lovely knits that you finished during 2023, but I wondered whether you are still knitting the drops of memory shawl? You haven't mentioned it for ages - unless I missed it?

yes I am! Thank you for asking! I love that you remembered this one. I am restarting it, I ended up lending my 52 weeks of shawl book to a friend for a couple weeks, and put it on hold. When I got the book back I sadly never got back intro the grove again. This is one of the knits I want to get done and back to working on this year! and one way I plan on slowing down and paying more attention to detail as this is a project that will take a lot of time and attention! 😊💚

The reason the yoke sweater fits the way it does is because it’s a yoke sweater. It has nothing to do with your body shape. Keep this in mind when you see other people making all those colorful Andrea Maury pullovers. They will fit exactly like the one you just finished in February.

Thank you! I think you are right, For now I think I will just try to avoid buying patterns with this constitution since I find the fit awkward. Maybe might revisit in the future or something 😊💚

@@knittingwitheve That's what I have done. I have finally found a way to make them with a diamond shaped neck (V shape in front and back and at both shoulders) that fits better, however, it is not good for cooler days because so much of your neck is exposed.
