I can relate so much with you about the Lana Grossa yarn. I knitted a sweater for my husband in Lana Grossa Cashmere 16 Fine. It pills exactly like your sweater. It really hurts my eyes when I see him wearing this sweater.

I have knitted with the Schachmayr Merino 120 too and I agree, it does have weird drape if you knit with it by itself. However, it's great for stranded colorwork! I have a colorwork sweater and a headband in that yarn that I really love.

I'm suffering with you about your Lana Grossa cashmere sweater. 😢 So sad that things like this happen but thanks for sharing so fewer other people have to have the same bad experience. I’m an advanced beginner, and I’m afraid to tackle socks because of the double pointed needles. I think there are other options such as minis, two circulars, magic loop….but I’m not sure. Maybe I should start with something very plain? I plan to check out your tutorial just in case it might work for me. I love your videos.

Thank you very much 🫶My best love is trio needles. They are also called flexible double pointed needles. I tried magic loop, small circular and double pointed. So far, trio is the best for me. However, I’ve heard some people hate them 😅 So the best is to try them all, and decide for yourself 🤗

Thank you very much ♥️ I was thinking to do that, but I imagine they might offer me just some yarn in exchange, which I don’t need. Or maybe they will just say that it’s “normal” to peel that much for soft yarns. Which is obviously not 🥲 so I decided to better put my energy in making new projects with new yarns instead
