I actually think Reubenstein is the company that would have sold it! I just received a Brother overlock machine that has that exact same sticker on it as your sewing machine! I also received a Brother sewing machine just like yours. Mine’s DB2-B714-3 😄 I’ve used industrial machines at my work but am so excited to own one of my own!!

Ooh that makes sense too! Thanks. And congratulations on the new machines! Always exciting

That top dial that you didn’t know is the “pressure regulating thumb screw” according to the manual I found. Turning it right is more tension and changes the amount of pressure on the material. I haven’t figured out what the handle does

Lucky you to inherit such a beautiful machine! I love my industrial ! I have a Juki 8900. I order all my needles (from size 9 through 16 from Cleaners supply). I also order Ballpoint 11 cause I do all the straight stitch work on bras on my industrial. It sews underwire casing like a dream!!! Enjoy ☺️

I used to work in a sewing factory. You need two bobbins as the empty bobbin will fill up while you sew, hence two thread holders This is to save the machinist time so they don't have to stop to fill it every time it runs out. Yes that is for pressure of the foot
@seasonallyproductive2 жыл бұрын
You can sew while the bobbin winder is engaged?! Game changer!
@judychandler58222 жыл бұрын
@@seasonallyproductive yes I wish domestic machines did the same.

@@judychandler5822 yes the domestic home sewing machine can wind the bobbin while sewing
@judychandler58222 жыл бұрын
@@frankjanvari8650 mine can't unfortunately. I sometimes wish I had an industrial machine. They sew much faster too and of course the knee lift is brill. I know some domestic machines have a knee lift now

Help!!! Have the similar Machine, thanks for great video. My problem at the moment is the fabric not feeding through, stitch is small and cannot adjust it. so not sure if it is the feeder under the plate or the stitch adjustment switch. Any ideas, many thanks

Thanks so much I really appreciate you I’m very new to this type of Machine this video is so helpful to me.What kind of oil it works with please .I just get one from a friend but the oil is leaking out
@seasonallyproductive Жыл бұрын
It needs to be sewing machine oil. Your local sewing shop or repair person should have, otherwise you can find it online

Great video!!! I want to buy this machine. Do you know how old the model is? Or how many years was it in your grandmother's possesion?
@seasonallyproductive Жыл бұрын
It is quite vintage. My grandma would have had it for around 20-25 years. And it was at least a few years old at that point.

Why does it need oil?
