I'm really surprised you found the seats uncomfortable for long rides. I have a 22 OB Touring and have taken several 500 miles road trips driving 8-9 hours and have found the seats very comfortable especially with the thigh extension as I'm 6 feet tall and I don't know any other vehicle in this price range that even offers a thigh extension. I do agree with the cooled seats, it's almost useless and now I never use it. Agree, the lane centering is about average, my wife has a 24 Pilot Touring and I find that to be a little smoother, but not by much. Would like to know what cars in this class you have found comfortable, it would be good to provide examples. Thanks for the video.

The one that immediately comes to mind with a leg extension (and more comfortable seats) would be the 2021-2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited (or Calligraphy). This would be extremely close in price and feature set but better driver assistance and technology. There would be a number and pros and cons to both as I like certain aspects to both vehicles but this would be one I would say could be compared.

I subscribed despite not agreeing with a few points you raised, especially the infotainment system and the ride comfort. I have a 2023 OB Touring in Sydney, Australia. my previous 3 cars were Citroens with Hydractive suspension, so to me the ride comfort the OB offers is just barely OK, certainly not fantastic. The infotainment system, though, I find superb. No complaints whatsoever. Oh, and the headlights: I feel the Low Beam is so good, that the High Beam doesn't make much difference. Out of town I use the High Beam all the time, just leave it on High and the car automatically makes adjustments to the beam (still on High) in order not to blind oncoming traffic. It is not a matrix system so how it does it beats me, but it works very well.

I just got 2024 Outback Touring none XT (with Java brown leather). I have no problems with the seat. I think it is better than my son 2020 Forester Touring.

Incandescent bulbs are much cheap to change than an entire taillight assembly. I can buy incandescent bulbs at Walmart. I can't buy a taillight assembly at Walmart.

I do see some failures with LED assemblies but it's not wide spread. Also when LED's do fail, it's typically quicker rather than later which will fall under the warranty. Some failures are caused by external factors such as water intrusion which is a defect of the assemble but not related to being LED design.

Thank you so much for demonstrating the headlights. Very important. Surprised on the seat comfort and cooling of the seats. The Subaru driver nannies should have the ability to adjust the level of sensitivity. The beeping creates more stress of the driver.

Thank you! You can adjust the driver assistance sensitivity somewhat but not as much as other vehicles. I agree that the beeping noises can get annoying.

I have really been trying to figure out what small SUV to get as I am having a kid soon and I am stuck between this thing for its price ranges or the Honda CR-V hybrid for the better gas mileage and the slightly larger internal space.
