I have the base model and it's just as good a car for every day driving. Of course I'm 74 years old, so that does make a difference. 😎

Couple of points on dislike list they I have as well as an owner. The Pano Glass roof, Heads Up Display & Digital rearview mirror are offered in rest of world market. Hyundai cut them from U.S. version due to costs & trying to keep price down due to it not qualifying for $7500 tax credit. Think this was a miss & should have been an option. However, it’s still an amazing car! Just wish we had received those three items other countries got. Well done. Can’t disagree with anything you covered.

I don‘t get this either, think it has to do with some tax regulations in US. I have it fullspeced but see it positive, you don‘t really need the digirearmirror and the sunroof is additional weight. The missing headupdisplay That's a bit of a shame but still a super cool car. Stay safe

Thanks for your video! I use it as my daily car for the commute to work. I can charge it for money during my working hours. On longer journeys, I don't find the possible range a big problem because it simply charges very quickly. I drive the EU version. Electric seat adjustment with profile memory would have been nice. And I love being able to switch from Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at any time. 😃

A supercar with a trunk, backseat, and 4 doors... all under $100k? Hell yeah! Similar gas cars don't perform as well and have the same range. Want more range and a sunroof? Get a regular Ionic. 😂😂😂

If this vehicle had power seats with memory I’d buy it immediately. I can’t think of any practical reason that it doesn’t. I’m fine with the seat bolstering but at half this price point I expect to have powered seats. I’d also like to see more range like maybe 90 more miles to a full charge. HKG doesn’t do a great job with their efficiency in their ICE or their BEV vehicles. It would be great if they would make that a focal point. I agree that I’d like to see the panoramic roof, digital rear view mirror and the HUD. Even if the roof didn’t open but had a shade that would let in light to brighten the cabin that would work for me. Brighter interior colors would be a welcome touch for me. Thanks Hyundai for the rear wiper. I bet this vehicle will spend most of its time as a daily an as such it needs to be a bit more accommodating. Great review 🤙

They used manual seats to save the space the moter and electrics would take up to lower the seating position so it feels sportier than the regular Ioniq 5. Since performance car people do things like remove their AC to reduce engine drag and weight then I guess the idea is most performance car people would be fine with the set it and forget it seating.
