Honestly, I fell in love with Izzy way faster than with Pinkie Pie. I still love Pinkie, but even my friend who has Pinkie ranked at the bottom of his mane six list, he loved her. Plus, she has my favorite design in the whole franchise and has "Fit Right In" ranked up with my other top favorite songs from G4. If only she would remain this enjoyable post A New Generation.

All this! Pinky was my #6 out of the main6 but movie Izzy was by far my favourite, and it's really sucked to see her be relegated to the "lol so random!" comic relief character. Yes, I am actually salty about it lol.

@@6-dpegasus425 couldn't agree more. Izzy was up in my top six characters in the franchise with Twily, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Starlight and Chrysalis, but I only include A New Generation Izzy in that spot alone.

My favorite thing about g5 was following all of the news and rumors about the movie before it was released. It was so exciting watching all of the g5 theory and analysis videos when the trailers would come out or something would leak. I’ve never anticipated another movie more than that one and when it came out I had a few friends over and we watched it together :) and although make your mark isn’t looking so good, I am really enjoying TYT. It’s fun and wholesome and gives me something to look forward to every week :)

You are only critical because you really do care about MLP and G5 as a franchise and you want it to success, just like I do! ❤I am also very critical of G5 especially the special and most of TYT. I want nothing more than to be able to tell my non brony friends that MLP is a show worth watching, without also having to tell them to watch the old 2010 version first tho. But as for positivity...I love how G5 seemed to relight a lot of the fires in the brony community! It felt like sense the movie came out there has been a lot of amazing wonderful brand new and returning content creators eager to...Make their mark. 😏 I hope the community continues to grow even more with the release of the series!

I loved Hitch's characterization in the movie. I love that little moment where everybody's panicking and he's yelling orders and tells someone to pick up a piece of litter. It makes him seem so cool headed and like a good leader. Too bad about about the rest of G5 . . . .

G5 is really good in my eyes(now at least), I was really fascinated by the movie and immediately wanted more. I thought make your mark chapter 1 was pretty good, but not the animation. Chapter 2 was half great and half good, the animation improved. And Winter Wishday was.. way better. The writers just need to add more detail to the storyline. I also really enjoy the zitch moments.

Granted, Hitch has a great personality but he has literally failed at everything he has tried to do in his profession. That trait has continued in the reboot and the special. Not sure about the game or the comic and I don't think episode 1 has even aired yet. So yeah, he's a good boi, but he's a total screwup. I blame that on the writers. They made him a joke. He is the Finn of MLP.

at first i didn't think i would like the 3D series, i always thought "no, we should always stick to the 2D style and never change!" but after watching the movie, i realize that the 3D style is starting to grow on me. sure i will always have the 2D MLP style in my heart, but the 3D G5 style is pretty nice (if you can get past all the animation and lighting errors of the MyM series) but i digress

I personally like the new take on the mechanics of magic. It's a shame that it has to be dragged down by being in the same universe and G4 since the magic system doesn't seem properly compatible. However, I do like the way it is portrayed as more than just some force that does whatever you want. In G5, there is a greater focus on magic, and the ways it can go awry. In the movie, magic was gone and then was returned; not really anything special here except for sunny becoming a pseudo-alicorn which is an idea I've been thinking about long before the movie. In the first special, there was a greater focus on the magic being unstable and malfunctioning, often misfiring or cutting out... Pegasi falling from the sky, but mainly sunny's alicorn powers randomly surging and just causing her problems. In TYT, these ideas are further continued, with sunny's powers doing things like: activating in her sleep (due to dreaming of her friends), growing tiny or mismatched wings, hair growth spurt. Although I don't particularly like the way her abilities don't line up with regular unicorns due to an unessassary focus on glitter and lack of use of her horn. I also like the way earth pony magic is handled... kinda. Earth pony magic, it's greatly unbalanced (although it's shown that both unicorn and earth pony magic seems more potent). However, I still like some of the ways it is used in the show. I liked how it considered how the earth ponies would feel to have this mystical and magical force return to the land, but only to the unicorns and pegasi who they see as outsiders. Naturally, they might feel left-out and jealous of the magic, which would turn into resentment. I don't particularly remember enough of the special to know if they handled it well or not, but to me, it's the idea that counts. There's also how some ponies don't have confidence in the new magic straight away and how they fear using it incase they discover that they don't actually have any. I believe there might have been two TYT episodes on this? Regarding the one earth pony who couldn't get their powers to work and the magician earth pony whose old magic tricks were rendered useless, he also didn't have the confidence to embrace the new magic. And now my thoughts on magic in the new trailer... From what I've seen of the trailer, it appears that it will focus on earth pony magic and how it can go wrong. I suspect that Misty has been sent to place something in Maretime bay in order to disrupt magic and cause it to go haywire again, but with the earth ponies. A lot of the scenes containing earth pony magic in the trailer also showed the earth ponies reacting negatively to it. My favourite example being when blue mane-melody pony (whom I forget the name of) accidentally activates her magic under them and you can see her ears fold down in fear or nervousness as the magic begins to lift her. There is also a scene of Hitch reacting to his glowing hooves, sprout accidentally growing a giant berry plant behind him while on clean-up duty (which is also seen dropping those berries to roll through the streets and cause issues). And then the scene with two earth ponies triggering plant magic (lol rainbow tree) without actually seeming to be aware of what they're doing.

Number: Pipp Pip Hooray! All that stuff you said and I like Pipp, from the movie. I don't give a single sh(yay) about the b(BUY SOME APPLES) constantly on her cell phone taking selfies. I liked her and Izzy ORIGINAL VOICE and now they are soulless husks of who they were that sound nothing like they once did. Also, Deputy Sprout would be a good foil for Hitch if the Sheriff was actually portrayed as competent. I akin them to Rosco P. Coltrane and Enos Strait from the Dukes of Hazzard. Only in that show the deputy was the good guy and the sheriff a corrupt pr(yay). Both were differing levels of stupid depending what the episode writers needed from them.

Initially, before the movie, based just on trailers I wasn't sure if I would like Hitch as a character, since he seemed a bit like another Flash Sentry, or perhaps Johnny Bravo of sorts, with this annoying need to 'look sexy and macho'. That's how the trailers portrayed him, and it was also present in the movie at times. But, for the same reasons as you, I got to like him while watching the movie. I love it when characters realize on their own when they've been wrong. But also, I loved how the movie depicted him as a competent and quick-thinking pony, who can add something valuable to the team. His investigation skills, and ability to think rationally even under stress. That was something he could bring to the team and be the best at it, and I love it when everypony on the team can add something they are expert at. Ultimately, the character I cared the least for after watching the movie was Pipp (and I hoped the show would change that), but then over time I noticed a few redeeming things about her too. And overall, the movie got me excited and involved. My main complaint about the movie was its predictability. Every scene that was supposed to be exciting and keep us on the edge of our seats, it was quite obvious what was about to happen. Sunny thinks there are two crystals? Well, it's obvious there's going to be a third one, and from the stained glass window scene it was obvious there would be later a scene where they fail because they only have two, and they will realize there's a third one. And so on. It was even obvious that earth pony magic is going to be a major topic later, as hinted both by Sunny just learning that it's even a thing being a major plot point, to the last scene of the movie where 'everypony got their magic back', and the glowing hoofmarks... basically, the only surprises in the movie were details of little significance to the plot. Everything else was telegraphed waaaaaay in advance. Basically - amazing characters, amazing details, decent worldbuilding (very reasonable, designed not to overload new viewers with too much information), the entire movie designed to get us involved and engaged with the new characters. That was perfectly executed. The story though? Meh.

Alright something positive... I Enjoy Hitch's father relationship with Sparky. It's Refreshing to see a guy be a legitimately good father. In fact I also loved Sunny's relationship with her dad too. I really love that fathers are being treated with respect, instead of being treated like bumbling idiots that don't have a clue and always need mom's help to do anything. It's really nice to get away from that stale stereotype.

I also have liked G5. The movie was really good. The continuity from the movie to the series is also pretty consistent. I also like the idea of a non-corrupted Alicorn as the series’ antagonist and think it’s full of possibilities. Nightmare Moon was just Luna corrupted by the darkness of her jealousy of Celestia and Cozy Glow only became an alicorn via Grogar’s Bell. An unknown alicorn that has been around since the time G4 is very possible given how they have very long lives.

I basically exactly everything you just mentioned about g5 but some additions… (but like you mentioned, felt more disappointed once the “no plan” factor ha d started taking its tole, never thought MYM2 series would show this the most 😢) I have seen multiple franchises where your fan-hood was given an age limit of about a decade (ten years) give or take & I loved cross-overs & multiverse/generation connecting specials! This movie looked like it was about to tell an old generation you are not forgotten & a new generation that believes in it could “revive” fallen peace if it really cared!!! I liked the new world was like an example that the future does not follow the pasts agenda & sometimes buries it over time, like we do when we are oblivious to the values of the past… (seriously, why do others trash G1 G2 & G3?, would we not have G4 without them, even if looked down on?!?! G5 is basically built on buried mistakes & trouble between G4 G5 but in the same world!!! Even G4 is built on the other “old mlp world’s mistake’s & trouble’s!!!)… We did not get all the answers,… yet to how this happened, but it was so heart warming to see an earth pony in the distant future care so much when everyone was blissful in ignorance of this🤩❤️🥰!!! So I liked all the differences regardless! & couldn’t wait to see this “dig deeper”!!! I liked the stories in make your mark about the lessons from the elements not represented by a single character, like hitches advice on “honesty”, and more than one character appears to tell a story of “kindness, generosity, & laughter/fun”. No new “main 6”, just evolved harmony with a new “main 5”!!! Game changer genius. Some old ideas “eventually” got rehashed! Magic glitter, critter talk,… and Equestria games where I learned buck-ball was not the only sport that could be played with a balance mix of the three pony-breeds!!!(that was worth learning in my book, why had I never think of that for that TYT episode!) I don’t know if I could fit anymore in this post, but I guess that’s where my positivity ends😢😢😢… Sunny has “become less worried” about the important lessons she knows about the past and harmony & became more worried about “alicorn duties”, every-pony is still partying “inside the 3 new unified settlements” and it’s gotten stale. I don’t know if you could blame them for being oblivious to now ancient knowledge of how “Metropolis like pony past was for many creatures”, but when does it start biting, back more than, the return of a dragon?!?! The urge for a resurgence of friendship and harmony by Sunny and a team forming over time sharing this goal was what made the new move “MLP A New Generation” shine like a Diamond 💎!!!… but we know their quest is far from complete with the rest of Equestria & how big it is in G4!!! How long until we see our “new main 5” going out to explore Equestria again for friendship, peace, & mystery again like in the movie that started it all… or will we need to wait longer… or worse, is not planned on😢… Only God & time will tell… if we know… “only God & time”…😰😥🥶

The movie without a doubt is the best part of G5. It introduced such interesting characters and concepts that I really wish they'd gone in a better direction with. (I don't hate Make Your Mark, I do like it, however just because I like it doesn't mean I don't find myself genuinely disappointed in a lot of areas) Also, I get where you're coming from with Izzy feeling like a Pinkie Pie clone after the movie, and I feel like part of that has to do with the new voice actor? As soon as I heard Izzy's new voice I immediately felt like the person voicing her was trying to copy Pinkie Pie's voice. Of course writing also has something to do with that as well. I haven't watched Tell Your Tale but I probably should considering that might be where G5 will shift it's focus, and haven't read the comics either, so I can't really say anything about them.

The movie is the best part of G5 right now. I can enjoy MYM casually, but it doesn't hook me in near as much as FIM did. That being said, I have to say, I really like Zipp. I thought I would be annoid at her when I first saw her design, but she quickly warmed up on me. And her relationship with Pipp *chef's kiss*.

Agreed - though personally, I’m not expecting it to surpass G4 in my eyes like I did when the movie was all there was, I still hold out hope that it does. And it’s all been enjoyable thus far (still have to watch the Tell Your Tales after #11)

I love ALL the main characters and even really like all of the characters from the movie, in the series most characters dropped in varying qualities, Zipp was the best when it came to transitioning to the series from the film, she was very fleshed out compared to everyone else and her voice matches the original well! I loved OG Izzy but her new voice and personality makes her more like Pinkie from what I remember, but I don’t like the new Izzy, she seems a little too sassy or simply rude than the charming fun OG Izzy as her humor got less cheery and light hearted compared to the film version. Hitch feels less of a chad and kinda became a little more “weak” if that makes sense, he is definitely less confident but that might be from the new life he is in due to the new ponies around and cultures. Sunny and Pipp didn’t change too much although Pipp became a little more annoying like the typical annoying girl teenager way. She was bearable and cute in the film. Then the side characters are cool too until the series comes in, some characters got BUTCHERED by the voice changes, Zoom (Thunder’s guard Partner I believe) sounds way extra feminine and weak sounding compared to the chad like personality she had in the film. I feel bummed about the VAs but I’m doing what I can to transition and give the new ones a shot, but every time I watch the movie again I remember how much I LOVED the original VAs especially their singing was great!

I don't know if I have a favourite part? I loved Sunny! I vibe with Pip! Zipp is awesome Enby rep and I love seeing them finding their way. I love how adorable and helpful sunny is. I love tell your tale. I can watch it at any time of day, and it makes my Day! I love the songs! They always get and stay stuck in my head. I love the movie animation. I just love the G5 in general! It rocks! I like the beautiful cutie sweet character dev juices. Can't wait for more to come! I really like the Izzy episodes in Tell Your Tales! They're so cute and fun and happy and I love them! Love Hitch for being as responsible as he is. ...I'll stop there. But I really love Pipp and their joke lines and character TOO!!!! I could talk about this all day, lol.

My favourite parts of G5 -Hitch, Spout and surprisly, Haven (in the movie) (I think her love of her daughters, lying to keep the residents, subverts queens are evil and the fact that she broke out of jail and ran to find her daughters , with the Pegasus guards in hot pursuit) - Spectacular Movie Animation -Songs from the movie (Danger Danger, Gonna be my day and Glowin Up are really good and Fir Right In should get a literal parody) -Funny lines in the movie - Good voice cast in the movie -I think the Animation in make your mark feels diverse. the ponies have different hoof shapes Least Favourite Parts -Sunny could be improved. She actually is racist. She befriends unicorns and Pegasi not cause they were nice, friendly or funny, but because they are unicorns and Pegasi. The equivalent of a white person making friends with a black person because they are black. - These two scenes should have been in the movie (i made these scenes in my head), a scene of Izzy following after Sunny losses hope and a heartwarming scene of the royal sisters making up. Plus a scene in tell your tale where she forces a earth pony florist to use magic to make flowers. -bad comic backstory. -cliche “tribes were once together but not are apart and we must reunite them” that’s been done like fifty times already - make your mark. -Zipp can be unlikeable at time, Pipp is underdeveloped and Izzy can have some annoying moments. -earth pony powers. -sparky

I actually think Zipp is pretty likable and she obviously has some inspiration from Rainbow Dash and Applejack in that Zipp loves flying and going fast but she is also loyal to her friends and family and is pretty honest as she didn’t want to deceive the citizens of Zephyr Falls anymore about none of the Pegasi being able to fly including the royal family.

I still haven't watched much of the shows and things that followed the G5 movie, so the new main characters all feel a little shallow to me, but in spite of that I too appreciate their unique qualities, just from what little I can see into their personalities. My favorite part of G5 is the humor in the movie! I certainly got some good laughs at the unicorn bu᠎­⁣⁤⁦tt᠎­⁣⁤⁦s and corns on the cobs!

This is kinda an unpopular opinion but I don’t actually mind the colour scheme for the g5 main ponies. I understand the last gen made them more diverse but each character fits their colours. Image if Pipp was red. That doesn’t fit her very well. But zipp is still more diverse and you can’t change my mind

Izzy was so much better in the movie. She was a little wacky but she wasn’t Pinky Pie wacky. The campfire scene in the movie showed how much there was to her character when she let Sunny know, without saying a word, that being with her new friends meant more to her than getting her magic back.

I loved (and still love) Izzy ever since I saw the video just showing her and her name. Even though I knew both about her because the movie wasn’t even out yet I absolutely loved her. I feel like Tell Your Tale ruined her...well except for that one episode where she sings about trash. That song slaps. In Make Your Mark she again was a Pinkie Pie clone but sometimes her and Hitch would have a personality swap where she’s the more serious one and Hitch is the bouncy zany one. I hope the Make Your Mark series will make Izzy like how she was in the movie and not just a Pinkie clone. In terms of most of the media, Tell Your Tale is enjoyable enough for me to keep coming back every episode, and is competently animated despite the controversial proportions. The comics are nowhere near the level of the G4 comics in terms of quality, and did lose me when I found out they weren't even going to focus on their first story arc. But, I was intrigued by the first couple of chapters, seeing the downfall of Canterlot and, again, the excellent art. Make Your Make I have nothing to say about that hasn't been said already. But if we're talking about A New Generation? While I do need to rewatch it so I can refine my thoughts, I absolutely loved it upon my first watch! This felt like a movie that, while it took itself quite seriously, it felt refreshing in an era where films kept using traditional tropes and didn't do much with them outside of that. A New Generation plays with these tropes, by contrast. In addition, I noticed some parallels from G4 and other movies, too. The FiM opening sequence reminds me a lot of the opening of Kung Fu Panda, with our main characters reenacting and imagining how the heroes of old acted, except for the fact that three children turned it on its head and the Mane 6 are (presumably) all dead. Plus, while Hitch was the more serious sheriff who took his time warming up to realizing his misconceptions, Sprout was the spineless Biff Tanon, and he was hilarious! And as a villain, it even reminds me of Biff in Back to the Future 2, with just a standard bully gaining honor by a turn of events caused by our protagonist abandoning her home. In the same way as Biff in the alternate present, Sprout got too much of an influence and figured out how to manipulate his fellow Earth ponies, and even became a dictator halfway through. It's hard to take him seriously because he's a parody of the trope of bullies becoming serious villains, like in The Kite Runner, where the bully goes from an anti-Semite and a...molester....to the leader of the Taliban. There's a reason why, apparently, FOX News saw him as a parallel to Trump, who coincidentally was also who Biff was heavily based on. As for his song, Danger Danger, what made it so great was not only that it was so damn catchy, but like Sprout's negative arc, was a parody of the tropes seen in most villain songs. It's why it can be argued that it's not very subtle in its message, because it's not supposed to be subtle. Also, did you notice how Sprout's final plan is reminiscent of the Flim Flam Brothers timeline in Cutie Mark Re-Mark? Just thought that was interesting. A New Generation was excellent, Tell Your Tale is fine, the comics are all right, Make Your Mark sucks. And I really hope that Posey isn't going to just flat out replace Sprout, beyond her presence in Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale, because it seems like that's the direction they're going with her character.

Here is my list: • Chapter 6 of Make Your Mark. I love it. Whilst i normally not fond of the animation and color scheme, i think Isle Of Scaly (as in the location and not the episode) is gorgeous with this magenta color and prominent combination of vibrant teal and green. I adore Opaline's song and her actually doing something for a change. The special was also entertaining. • certain characters such as Hitch, Sprout, and Opaline (even if she is a macabre excuse for an antagonist) i also don't abominate the other mane characters, but they are bland beyond comprehension. • Opaline's Musical numbers "Villian" and "Opaline". Atrocious lyrics, however, i adore Athena Karkanis and her voice as Opaline. They are also well-composed. • The movie is flawed but nice. • anything other than the 3 core places and Opaline's castle are stunning, even with the low-quality animation, particularly, the set piece they have in Secrets Of Starlight. Even the core locations are nice, Briblewood is gorgeous, and so is Opaline's castle. • this is certainly my thing, but i cherish the Hungarian dub of Allura, her voice actress being Csere Ágnes. Every G5-related media besides these is pure and utter garbage.

I havent admittedly watched the mym special, but while obv tyt exxagerates the characters, it suprisingly not awful with izzy, yeah shes more bouncy then in the movie, but i dont quite agree with her being a pinkie clone. theres multiple moments where i excpect her to act a certain way like pinkie (bc silly kid shorts), but she doesnt! While her character in the series hopefully shows her strengths as much as the comic and movie does (like the discord interaction in the comics is mwah)

What I liked most about G5 is the animation in A New Generation, and especially the dragons from Make Your Mark. They are classical European, were all voiced by Canadian actors, and are sexually dimorphic.

Honestly despite the many flaws on MLP G5, I loved the story idea where it was going, however the storywriting is what needed to be worked on. I feel like that's probably the major issue i have when it comes to G5 especially Make Your Mark. While the movie feels fleshed out and given the time to write and let it flourished, Make You Mark feels rushed. Mainly the special episode. I feel like that might be why the story writing wasn't as intuitive. I can forgive the animation budget, but it's the story writing that I'm concerned about. I'm hoping that the creator of G5 doesn't feel the need to constantly rush through G5 and have better storywriting and layouts for it. He was clearly ready for the movie but not the TV series itself. Which is something that's definately need work on.

For me, my favorite part about G5 is that it’s continuing off G4. I know that’s a very controversial opinion and yes I agree G5 ruined a lot of things from G4, but for me I never got to experience G4 in its glory days, only a long time after the show ended. So for me it allows me to have a bit of that G4 experience I desperately wish I could have.

I think it’s more that a long time has passed, and so the lore is just hidden/needs to be discovered - in that some parts are rare knowledge. I like it because in theory it allows the new show runners to be flexible with what to bring back, and to also be judicious in deciding what to change (with the understanding that it has been a very long time, and after all, change is constant). In practice, it hasn’t worked 100%, but when does it ever? Still, though, at some point I hope the series involves deep diving through Argyle’s notes to discover more about the past.

Movie Izzy, that's all I want back, she's basically there in the comics and there are slight hints of her in some of the tyt episodes but for the most part, the lovable quirky unicorn is gone and in her place is a hyperactive pinky clone, only somehow more obnoxious than Pinky was on a bad day. No hate on her VA of course, it's not her fault she's been given horrible lines to read and every now and then she's given something good and I can see that movie Izzy could still be in there if the writers would just stop making her the idiot comic relief character.

I def dont hate gen 5, i mostly just enjoy it like a child would for the most part when im not analyzing it. I just finished gen 4 after having stopped when i was younger, and going straight into gen 5 was like "...woah." I like rly good animation but all of the itty bitty details especially in the background were rly distracting at 1st bc i was going from a relatively simplistic cartoon asthetic to hella good 3d animation ya know? I also dont hate zipp, but i literally cant help but think of rainbow when i see her. I love how shes a detective and how she doesnt fit the whole girly princess role, but from her name to her asthetic i still cant help but think of rainbow. All of the other characters i can see as distinct, even izzy. But im just constantly reminded of rainbow when i see her personally

I would say that my favorite thing about G5 across all its various incarnations is the Mane 5. I think they’ve got nice characterizations, and I personally don’t agree that any of them have been significantly downgraded from their portrayal in the movie. Hitch was always kind of a lovable goofball - sure, he had a more serious side in the movie, but that was because the movie allowed him to have that more serious side because of the story it was telling. Maybe I’m not qualified to comment on that since Hitch was never too high up on my list - I mean, I liked him just fine, but still. Izzy too - she’s my favorite character across all of G5. I think the special did a good job of demonstrating some of her different facets even with her limited screen time - her thoughtfulness in restoring Sunny’s lantern (since it was probably Sunny’s letter that saved her from giving in to the despair that had clearly enveloped most of Bridlewood), her ability at comic relief (because I’m not going to deny that’s a role she plays), her creativity (which is one of the traits I like best about her). It took me a while (longer than the other 4, that’s for sure), but I finally did adjust to her new voice actress - I just hope going forward she gets even more material to refine it further. Unlike with Hitch, since she’s my fave, I feel qualified to comment on her - I completely disagree that she’s been turned into some cheap Pinkie clone - unlike with Pinkie, who seems to more have had just a dull upbringing, it really does seem Izzy had a miserable upbringing, and so she can now play the fool to keep things light, since she doesn’t want her friends to experience the despair lapping at their hooves like she had to. If I had to choose a least favorite thing about G5, it’s the long layoff between content - I remember the long layoff between seasons 4 & 5 of FiM, but that was kinda fun because there was a lot of content to fall back on, and so I could sit back and laugh at all the people flipping their shit over Twilight’s castle. With this, though, I can’t help but feel a bit nervous (just because, again, lack of content), but then I remember that at this point, even if G5 never does surpass G4 in my eyes like I hoped it would, there’s really only one thing they could do that might greatly upset me, and that is if they decide to make Opaline (the new Alicorn) actually Twilight Sparkle. As far as Make Your Mark, it really did feel like a Gillian Berrow episode of FiM in both the best and worst ways.

I have lots more bad than good to say about G5 so far but my favorite thing so far overall to come out of G5 so far was the movie, had the right amount of fan service and besides the rushed ending and the little amount of lines pipp as well as zipp received I thought all the music, writing and voice acting blew my expectations out of the water. As of now in G5 I can be more forgiving of the little amount of lines from the movie as I know more about the cast now than I did then, still I think it was a poor creative choice at the time as this was supposed to launch a new show. As of right now I don’t have high expectations for the rest of G5 and I think it won’t run as long as G4 did, my hopes are hasbro will pull the plug after a few seasons and launch G6 or some sort of spin off show catering more to their fans and adult audience as that is the audience that has the money and will generate the most merchandise sales. I think hasbro will notice this and find out that by not giving this new series as much love or thought as the last will effect their revenue and profit margins by pushing their adult viewers away.
