a little tip i’ll leave here is to learn techniques and concepts (more on how each garment is built) rather than only following patterns! it will challenge you more and benefit you in the long run because you’ll know how to make a variety of things combining the techniques that you know :) also like anything of course practice makes perfect! good luck on your journey!

@@minigru.studios that's so cool! so far the designs I've seen for botanical sunprints and cyanotype reminds me a lot of batik designs here in Malaysia. Though batik designs are drawn and lined by wax with the fabric dyed repeatedly in between. Do check it out when you're able to :)

I just watched a few videos and the batik designs are so beautiful! and the process is so cool :) it seems to be a pretty similar concept with the wax leaving a negative image which is then washed away similar to the cyanotype i would love to take a class on the art of batik designs! thank you for introducing me to them :)

thank you Olivia!! It was a lot of trial and error but essentially you cast off the stitches in the middle of the panel and knit each side one at a time then cast on more stitches for the tie parts! HI! sorry I don't really use patterns! for this top I pretty much knit a panel in stocknitte stitch and decreased it on both sides when you reach right under the armpit! then made the same panel and sewed them together! you can add a collar too for a cleaner look :) hope this helps!

I got it at a vintage market! The brand is Everitt if that helps or else you can search for "faux fur bucket hat" and something similar may come up! :) hope this helps

K + C luxe craft angel hair but I believe it is discontinued:( i know this because I ran out of yarn and couldn't find more lol but check out etsy or ebay they might have some!

Thank you!! :)) I crocheted it!! I used 4 strands of suri silk to make it a bit thicker hope this helps!

at 18:29 I was talking about how I just bought my sewing machine at the end of the year so the only thing I made was an upcyled pillowcase into a tote bag! :) I was so new to it so I was mostly just practicing my stitches and stuff in december!
