Cool! Just two questions though. You don't use a shaving foam/gel? And, what's the aftershave you're using?
@TravelGoExplore3 жыл бұрын
Hey :) Nope, no shaving foam as I only really shave my cheeks so I just put warm/hot water on my face or I can always use shower gel/soap to make for a smoother shave or if I really want some shaving foam I can simply jump into a shop to pick some up but I tend not to need it. The aftershave is Armani Code. I have recently updated everything I own here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYGpgIGof82oi6c Thanks for stopping by :)

How do you handle washing your clothes? I bet it's hard to fill up a washing mashine when you've only got a few shirts... Do you simply don't care or do you wash everything by hand? And what about documents that one is supossed to keep (you know, bills for the tax return and stuff like that)? Anyways. Great and truly inspiring video! Loved the editing! :)

I wash my boxers and socks by hand in the shower until I have a big enough wash load, say at the end of the week I will put everything in the washer and just wear my shorts or If I house sit or travel with people I will throw my clothes in the washer together. As for bills and documentation I don't have any as I've gone digital with all of mine but I've put my main address as my parents if I do get the odd letter etc. Thanks, I'm glad you like the video :)

You could get rid off some of your heavy electronics if you're still looking for ways to reduce.
@TravelGoExplore7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm looking to reduce over the next few months as I'm happy to do this slowly now that I'm down to 40L. I've already got rid of one of the phones and bought a GoPro as they're more durable and I wouldn't want to put my phone through that ha. I don't want to become an extreme minimalist and make my life/experiences miserable. I guess it's just a case of changing things out over the next year once I've been to more places with different (extreme) weather conditions.

Nice vid! Subbed! Ive just entered my 5th month travelling (currently in Mexico) and my setup is super similar to . yours! I even have the same bag haha! I often find myself with my collapsable bag always out, even if i have it on the front while walking. I don't feel comfortable leaving my laptop in that front pocket when the bag goes under a bus or something haha I have a set of thermals though (which came in handy for some of my USA travels camping etc) What are you shooting this video with? EDIT: also what countries/continents are you traveling though? I hope to make a video like this soon too.
@TravelGoExplore7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Nice, I can't wait to visit Mexico. Yeah this bag is awesome but I've reduced since this video and I've for a 30L backpack that I really want. Yeah I'd probably buy some thermals when it gets super cold but it's still warm in Germany and my body likes the cold more then I like heat. I've got through a winder in the UK with the same set-up. You just close the windows and turn the radiator on or get under a blanket :) Saves carrying a jumper around with me to sunny places. My friend shot the video for me on a DSLR I can't remember what make he has. This video was shot in an Airbnb in Rotterdam but I'm not in Germany near Berlin. Can't wait to see your video :)

@@TravelGoExplore From where do you have money?
@TravelGoExplore4 жыл бұрын
I have been learning graphic design / animation for 17 years and been working in the industry for 10 years building up my day rate so I now work for around 4 months out of the year but you can travel 100% for free if you try house sitting. I know a photographer who hasn't spent a single penny in 9+ years as he designed his own life with his own set of rules. It's all about being creative, designing your own life/rules and wanting less.
@bestopinion92574 жыл бұрын
@@TravelGoExplore Even with house sitting, who does it pay electric, water, gas, etc. tax? Not you?
@TravelGoExplore4 жыл бұрын
It's simply like renting an Airbnb. The owner of the property pays the electric, water, gas, tax etc. you trade time to earn money at work than pay them some amount of money. With house sitting you just remove the money part. You trade your time to look after their house and/or pets and they trade you a bed and food for your time. So there is still trade but you create your own value system and remove money from the equation. You want a bed and food they want someone to look after their house and pet.

I got one from a friend who had a pack of 25. I'm looking to making most of my items environmentally friendly over the next year as I've only been travelling full-time for about 3-4 months so I'm still changing things.
