Wow, all colored pages and started ones in one video. I have to watch it in sections. I love your work! I think it is very inspiring. I am amazed, of how much you did in Aquatic. And I love that you have colored so much in your Hanna Karlzon books. I just started a couple months ago, so I'm glad you have slightly different books than many others. I wanted some variety. Thank you for sharing, I love your art style ( I definitely think you have a style totally your own !) you are without a doubt my favourite colourist, your colour choices are so inspiring and that you’re quite “messy” in the most beautiful way …..something I need to work on , when I do my own art I’m quite “messy” in my style but I find it hard to carry that over to my colouring books I think because there are lines ! My brain says “ don’t go over the lines “ 😂. Anyway , beautiful beautiful pages , I could have sworn you had the out of print hardback Emelie oberg book ? You’ve inspired a lot of my book purchases! Thank you so much! I mostly use alcohol markers in those books, but I have a few colored with inktense (and/or other watersoluable pencils) and pencils on top. The latter is a bit trickier since the paper is what it is, but I do like the result as well:)

@@kirstendecoster3201 Depending on which pages in particular you're thinking of, I might've used pencil on top. I think a lot of my marker-work does have that sharp edge you're thinking of, but I kinda like it every now and then:)

@@aclutteredlife I like it too, but sometimes I would like to get a softer edge. Putting pencil on top should indeed help. I especially like the face of the green man with the red lipstick.

Okay I was looking for a Denyse Klette book for a while now and I finially bought Fairies in Dreamland 😅 thanks for making my choice easier!!! I really love your pages in Mouse guard. I love how you work with watercolor pencils. I really need to use them more. Maybe in combo with my waterbased markers? 😅 thank you for sharing. I really like to hear you talk. It’s very spontaneous and sometimes funny. I hope your coloring slump is over?

Yay, another "Fairies in Dreamland is good actually" convertee!:D I've decided the slump is actually not a slump but a new era, haha;) I've been getting my creative outlet in writing like you wouldn't believe. I'm enjoying it so so much, I'm not even sad that I'm not coloring^^. It does put a bit of a lid on the coloringbook videos, though, that's a bit of a bummer, of course, but hey, the muse does as the muse wants
