I feel like you can never really know anyone completely, you learn more about each other everyday forever and the defining factor of making it is are you mature enough to handle finding out new things about them and yourself? Making it through that is soo much harder than it sounds and that’s why most marriages struggle or even fall apart in the first two years. As someone who’s been married for 12 years, God, love, friendship, loyalty, patience, respect, self awareness & forgiveness is what makes a marriage work. Too much pride, too much anger, an inability to forgive, falling out of love due to a lack of effort, disrespect, excessive jealousy etc. are all things that lead to marriage breakdown. If you guys have all that sorted, make your way through the silly arguments, it’s normal, healthy even! Here's the thing...u both just described a real relationship that works & last. My husband & I started as friends, then dated, took a break for a yr & now 30 yrs later, 6 kids & 2 grandkids BUT don't shoot for perfection cuz u will never find it. This is sad & good cuz what u both don't see is what u both are going through is called a relationship. You are going to have rough times, it's how u handle is what matters. You have the foundation & have had it. Now it's a matter of how u work on your troubles, how u get through them, but even when u find the one it's never perfection. U can go back to the basics but u don't have to stop loving ea other, holding hands, lil kisses cuz when u let those things go u are also letting go of that part of the relationship. This is good but u 2 aren't done. When a couple is done u don't have that connection. You just have to figure out what works for u but don't work on perfection or u both will always be alone. What u found is rare...call it what u want but u 2 are meant to be, still in love, and all u are doing is working through what u want to do to make it work...props! A relationship is and never will be perfect. You both need to learn from each other faults, mistakes or whatever you want to call it. When you disagree on something you talk about it but just imagine taking a time apart every time you don’t like what the other says or does. You both need to walk the same path together to be able to learn from each other, grow together and improve your relationship. Wish you both nothing but the best. I met and married my husband in under 1 year. I didn't know him inside and out and we still have stupid arguments that we look at the situation after the fact and laugh at ourselves bc what we argued about was stupid and something we don't care about. September 23rd will be our 18th wedding anniversary. There are still things I don't know or realize about him...but for 90% of the time I know him better than I know myself. And visa versa. Ur not putting a bandaid on the rough patches through the lovie stuff.. it's those lovie moment, that make any ANY rough patch worth it. U will NEVER 100% agree on 100% of things.what matters is that you both love each other, are committed to each other, and most importantly, are willing to fight for your relationship. I'm glad ur finding ur way back. But keep this as relationship rule #1. You can't work on issues in the relationship individually. It MUST be a TEAM effort. That is where the beauty is. Growing together in that bond. Like God is the stone in which his church was built, your love, commitment, and faith, not only in yourselves and each other, but in God...that is the foundation for not only love, but a marriage. I don't think you need to go back to "square #1" I do think however, these days where you guys take each other to do your hands down favorite things to do ever is something I will plan for a date day..after 18 years and 3 kids..this will liven thing up here..lol never give up...u guys are on tour path. Just remember there is Noah, and there is KCup..2 different people. 2 different minds...there will always be little arguments that will annoy you to no end. That is inevitable...so make every single other moment full of love and joy. And then those arguments..they won't even register anymore. U guys got this

I'm going through similar relationship struggles, so seeing my brother and sister in Christ going through the same issues and working through them with God in the center is such a crazy great example to me and others who are struggling like I am. My husband and I met when we were 9 and were great friends until we got married at 24, after dating for a year. We *thought* our friendship was solidified, but through 11 years of hard marriage (quick kids and deployments and moves and deaths and you name it)- we have BECOME the best friends, *and* were also married which just sweetens the deal. I think Noah and Kcup are so smart to be evaluating this stuff early on to really solidify their relationship. You’re never gonna work out every kink right away or before big things hit, but it will absolutely help! God bless you both and keep shining His light!!!

I like the ending the part where u were gonna leave out. Its so sweet. Im glad she joined in and experience that cause she did say she had fun. Also, the part where she wanted to kiss you but she was holding back because u both agreed to not kiss one another.
