The weapons name, 'VERA', is a reference to an old syfy show called Firefly (amazing show). It was about space pirates and the fighter of the group had a gun he loved which he called VERA ❤️

Woo, girl, you be getting CLOSE to these monsters in these games! Up close & personal, lol. That's either confidence, courage, or a combination of the two! I like very long range weapons that I can shoot from wayyyy far away, but love to see you do it your way! A full playthrough would be great - especially since you are really enjoying it so far, it really makes the viewing that much better.

I am absolutely here for a game that leans hard into science, and has skills like xenobiology.. like.. omg.. yes. I'm not a fan of the people models, personally, but I think the other visuals are nice, and the voice acting is great! I look forward to seeing more of it. I had to look up the main character's VA because her voice sounded so familiar to me... among a bunch of other characters that I for some reason don't remember her voice from (The Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, etc), she was the woman on the walkie-talkie from Firewatch, which I DO remember her from. EDIT: this alien character leading you around is very reminiscent of the alien Queen from Amnesia Rebirth

Oh my god!! This game was made in Serbia and a few days ago I actually got to meet some of the lovely people working on it. Why is this so mind blowing to me? Because The game industry is becoming bigger and bigger in Serbia. I've alweys drempt of working in a game industry but I though that it was useless because I wouldn't get the chance to work on bigger projects, which is my dream. But seeing a game that was mede here actually become this popular is like a dream come true. ❤️❤️❤️

@@plume... i actually didn't get to visit mad head games but I got to visit a company just as big around here -Nordeus. I went to multiple 'conventions' where I got to hear a lot from people in mad head games, nordeus, Ubisoft and many more, I even got to talk to them in private. I'm still in 9th grade though so it's not like Imma get the chance to work there any time soon, but I am a part of a program in which I'm making a game for nordeus with a small group of people, which we're then going to present to people working in the company and have that work put on our cv's. I still have a long way to go but I hope I'm going to get the chance to work on an amazing project as this (game) one day :)

I do love the sci-fi trope of an enigmatic object (clearly artificial, but also clearly not of this Earth) arriving at our planet, or wherever else humanity might find itself in the far-flung future. I love the potential of an object like that, a device created by a sufficiently advanced species might be their most profound technological achievement, or their equivalent of a roomba cleaning up their galactic suzerain.
