Sympathize with you. Last week my whole county was on a boil water advisory. The temperatures were low and as they came up, all the frozen pipes all over town were making the water pressure extremely low. Apparently if this happens water can seep in from the ground that has bacteria. 🤢 So with very low water pressure and possibly contaminated water, I didn’t take a shower for 3 days. Ick. Luckily I work from home. Hope your gas is on soon.

It’s called a cluster box. I am your go to mail person! I’ve worked for the USPS for the 30 years. If you have any questions please ask! Take your photo ID and your lease and they should be able to have maintenance come out and change the lock on your box and give you your keys. ❤

I’ve always been a retail/distribution clerk so I definitely know all of the things. Such as; did you know that stamps are now .68 each and a book is $13.60? Yes, no. 1 postal geek right here! I’d rather be a fashion geek but we all have to be something, right?! lol! 😂

The day we moved into my house the old guy we bought it from was still moving his stuff out 🙃 and tried getting our moving crew to help pack his stuff. Plus he backed his moving truck into our gutters. Thankfully he paid to get them fixed 😂 he also left a can of cheese wiz under the bathroom sink that expired in 2011 💀

Omg first of all I LOVE YOU! Second: I am dealing with the worst apartment move in situation I have ever dealt with in my life. Essentially they leased me a property that wasn’t ready for move in and I got there with all of my stuff and the place is uninhabitable - and the property manager proceeds to get angry with me and tell me how awful her week is and how ridiculous I’m being for not moving into a place that has no stove and no functioning bathroom…anyways - just needed to vent and I love you and I hope things go well for you! Better than they have been for me! But please keep telling us how it’s going - it makes me feel less alone!!!

I literally live here next to universal studios and shopping for a new place is ridiculous. The post office mail change thing I had to do that too for the first time since I live in a condo. I had to get a slip from the post office to put into my mailbox for the mailman to know the new renters info to put my mail there while I waited for the address change to process. Hope that helps! The prices have skyrocketed and the amenities have dwindled. Between the renters market, groceries and our pay not changing to keep up. It feels like the locals I know are being priced out. Glad you guys have found your new place and are looking forward to the move. Wishing you a smooth process after your gas is setup 😂🤍

We moved in October and very little has gone right. The movers didn’t move everything and didn’t tell us, the dishwasher is broken, and I have water stains on my ceiling from frost in my attic. I won’t even go into all the problems we’ve had selling our other house. So I feel ya. I hope things turn around and go better for you!

This whole thing just screams Florida. I one time called comcast about a cable line they put in that just laid on the ground. When I called they said they couldn’t bury it until spring because the ground gets too hard in winter. I said this is south Florida it doesn’t get that cold, come out here and bury the line.

I work as an interpreter and my company gets subcontracted by things like banks, insurance, services, etc. I think it's very funny that my 26 year old ass has the babiest baby voice ever and I sometimes have the spanish speakers (especially old ladies) call me things like "my child", "sweetie", "pretty one" (because I sound like a child), and I am stuck on how to translate that to the deep voiced male agent on the other end of the line.

Also in fl and have a mailbox set up like that. Used my MI ID and documentation of residence (lease) and got my mail key. The ID is just for proof of identity to match documents. I didn't get my FL dl for like 3 months after I moved here

The mailbox thing is crazy to me. In CA the landlord is responsible for providing keys and making sure you have access to your mail or they will be fined. And what is a portal for?? You send the request and they contact maintenance! Florida really just says F you guys, figure it out, lol. 😄🖤🖤🖤

Good thing you get those factor meals that you can microwave. Our oven isn't working but our stovetop is so thank goodness but I feel you because when I made spaghetti I couldn't make garlic bread and I never eat spaghetti without garlic bread so it's been hard😢...lol its not that deep but it still sucks because we have to buy a new stove and they aren't cheap. Btw the place you are moving to does it come with appliances or do you have to buy your own? Also your makeup looks great, beautiful as always. My mom is always saying Amber that's too much blush and ends up rubbing my cheeks and I'm 42.

I was on my phone this morning at 9:10 getting that ultra violet and the dead roses. The basic Witch shimmer performance is similar to chlionadh on my hooded eyes. So, I just decided I was going to buy the 2nd and 3rd palettes of my 8 palette limit I set for the year. No regrets. 💜☠️🌹

My mailbox cluster adventure was smoother, the house I rented had the keys on counter BUT the leasing company didn’t know which cluster was mine much less which door… I took the key and picked a box to start with and got lucky on last door in it! Sent agent a text “for the future, the box is (insert location and door number)” - sheesh

Your lease and a valid ID SHOULD be all you need to get your mailbox. My address didn’t match on my ID when I got one. Was years ago and in Texas / but I’d imagine it’s the same. It’s absurd to expect someone to have an ID with correct address BEFORE they move in and have a mail box. Ya know? ❤

We moved to a town with no home mail service. I didn't have a lease agreement because we moved in with family, so I had to print off my utility bills to prove we where living here to get a PO box. I needed the PO box to get my license changed. The other option was to just pay for a PO box for the first 6 months to change license and then it was free because we had prove of address. Hope this helps.

I'm in Colorado and most things here are electric. I had to buy gas and then rewire everything to be able to use gas. I hate electric

I have been trained on e-trucks and I am a fan of them from an intellectual curiosity stand point, but see soo many problems with them. So, I am not a fan of this e-future we are being pressured with. Sadly, it is what a majority of people want.

I live in Australia and when I moved in my home was hooked up to gas and we turned it off. Now my house is on electric with solar panels and I’m paying way less on my bills. If you think gas is superior for cooking, try the new induction stoves, they are a lot better than gas and they are safer. If you are worried about what you do when you lose power, that recently happened here in Queensland and a bunch of people ran their appliances off their electric cars. We have parts of Australia where there are 400km without a service station and we are finding ways to make electric cars work.

@@ash-is-napping e cars require vastly different equipment and infrastructure than trucks. We have better support for e cars which have been well studied for a decade in China. (I am Aussie too) Trucks are still very new and govt and insurance etc support is lacking big time. And I'll stand by my gas flame cooking for as long as possible. As for solar power, that requires a huge amount of area in the southern states, plus storage capacity. It isn't a simple fix. Plus there is the wastage of lithium and batteries once out of commission. What to do with it? We thrown out LED light assemblies at work en masse, as the industry makes more money from a $400 tail light that lasts two years than a $3 globe that can last five years. Sad, but true. Our bins fill quickly with this plastic mess, but globes are made of glass we can reuse. It all sounds idyllic and easy, but it is not. Maybe, in 50 years, we might have waste management under control, but it is woefully behind the technonolgy of e vehicles.

Completely off topic but I was watching another KZbinr who bought some makeup from JCPENNEY and the foundation was from Mirabella, hope I spelled that correctly, and the setting powder was shan san Francisco...I know I'm not spelling that right but it sounded like what he said so anyway he really liked those products so I was wondering if you'd consider reviewing them because I trust your opinion more. It was Manny from KZbin so if you're considering it then maybe watch his JC Penny haul to get the correct names of products but those two peaked my interest and you're kinda my Michelle Wong I need your opinion before I purchase. I have moved in March 23. I discovered in december that the stupid clerk on the phone never deactivated my old trash-tax account and the new one she opened has this new address...with the street no. Of my last house. So I wasnt receiving any bills...Now I have 250€ to pay plus I needed to cancel the old account again and file a claim cause theres another 200€ they want, for a house I wasnt living in for months and isnt even mine!! Btw, im in Italy. I guess when they hire people to work for these things, they either hire them stupid or they tell them to play the part. 😅 good luck with everything theresa, these situations are horrible
