K-State has had a good run and it doesn't need to stop. OSU lost a great D-Coordinator before last year and then lost a ton of players to the portal after last season. We ended up recovering quickly and had a good year. Our once competitive hoops programs is a door mat. If K-State has good head coaches then all will be well. Great win last night, must be nice. OSU hears crickets noises at our home BB games.

So sad that Mike Boynton seems to excel at every part of coaching except winning. He’s a lights out recruiter and engages the students and donors like a pro. At least we haven’t been getting our doors blown off, but the Big 12 slate will be brutal.

Thank you for having the courage to broadcast this. This just stinks as it all came out of nowhere. As long as Kleiman is here, football will be ok. Tang runs a clean program. Great concern is the keeping our AD and the men’s basketball program together. The Octagon of Doom is going to be scary/angry for the rest of the season.

I just stumbled upon this video on accident, I’m actually an OU guy. I get that it sucks to lose coaches but the best programs in the country loses coaches every year. Jeff Lebby literally just left for an SEC job and the only thing you heard from people around here is wish him luck. The fact you’re losing a coach is a compliment to the program. Whining about it makes you guys look horrible to recruits. Chin up buttercup

I honestly thought Klieman would be the first to leave and Klein would be the next KSU HC. Hope you all get a good replacement cause I'll be rooting for you to win the B12 every year. Konelecki’s departure won’t be nearly the loss for KU that many people are making it out to be. If you watched the games it can be argued more points were left ON THE FIELD than points were scored with all those weird and wacky plays. But even more importantly… no one is leaving KU. They’ve had like 1 transfer and he’s a 4th string TE. Obviously the players are much more invested in the program, the head coach and the exceptional talent of their teammates. I have no idea how many players are leaving K State but it would appear the two situations are dramatically different.

We have not been terrible in recruiting or nil. NIL is increasing in fact. Note, have done well with portal in fact. Look what Tang did last season as well as Klieman bringing in D players & Martinez.

John, you’re worrying about something that is way less impactful than you realize. Your head coach knows what he is doing and you will get an OC as good or better than what you had. He was from KSU and I know he was more than just an OC. But in the end KSU will be just fine. You have the right coach. He’ll see that the QB position is well filled as well.

Know Chris knows what gundy feels like. I would be seriously worried that avery doesn't go. Avery losing most of the line, oc not deep at recievers. I've always thought Chris does good or is lucky his portal works out. He will need to fill alot of spots. Defense also so far lost 2 good players so far.

First off, as a regular watcher of your show and I really appreciate all you have done to promote the BigXII! As a KU fan most would think I would be happy about the turmoil at KSU right now, I’m not. I honestly believe that it is better for both KU and KSU to push each other to be better, hard to have much of a rivalry when one dominates the other. I do find it ironic though that just a couple of days ago you spoke about how you enjoyed watching KU struggle because of poor leadership from their administration, karma is a bitch John. I think that the KSU football program is probably more likely to come out of this ok but I worry that at years end Tang will leave because of this and who would want to take a job where the president may come in and sabotage your program at any time? I will be hoping that KSU will be able to dump the president and find a replacement because as long as he is there KSU will really struggle to attract/keep good coaches. At a time when KU football and KSU basketball have become respectable again to have one of those two programs take a huge step backwards would really suck. RCJH!!

You think Bill Self might take Naequan Tomlin? Depends on why he was arrested, suspended, and then dismissed. I'm seeing stuff that it had to do with him assaulting a woman. If that is why Tomlin was dismissed from KSU, it would be a really bad look for Self to take Tomlin after he just kicked Arterio Morris off the team for raping a woman right after he was charged with assaulting a woman during his time at Texas. Also, way back in the day, in 2006, Self kicked C.J. Giles off the team for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
