You should use the e-track system in your trailer. Look it up. They sell it at harbor freight. That will allow you do have tie downs in multiple spots, but you can move them around. Pro-tip get 4 pool noodles, put a slit down the long way and then put them over the wires of the back door ramp. This will prevent you and especially others from running into them in the dark. I help my son’s marching band with their 25’ trailer.

​@@flipzquad3277 You can also buy an e-track to mount the spare tire. If you search on amazon you can find one. I would buy the one that locks into two slots to fully support the tire. This will allow you to get the tire off the ground and out of the way. This is what we did. The e-track system also has other accessories like wood beam sockets to use with 2 by lumber to create things like shelves across the inside. We used the vertical e-track and wood beam sockets in the nose of the trailer to create a couple shelves that can move up and down. For the most part you would probably want to use the horizontal tracks down the sides though.

I wouldn't put the spare up front because you'd have to unload if you needed to change a tire. Best place is on the wall, just inside the side door. I'm still working out of a very crammed spare bedroom, but I finally moved my listeds out to the garage, on shelves, so I have aspirations of getting as big as you. Happy New Year!

Julian- I suggest you don’t put your spare tire inside. I you have a loaded trailer in get a flat you might need to unload some stuff just to get to the tire. Not good on the side of a busy interstate. If you put it in the inside then you have to contend with loadings so you can easily get to it .

​If the tire diameter is smaller than the width of the side door, consider mounting it on the door on the inside and mounted up high. That way if you do get a flat you just open the door and the tires right there. I've seen it done for smaller trailers that are used as toy haulers for people toting around their Harleys, etc.

Happy New Year. Small piece of advice when you are towing the trailer crisscross your chains. That way if your trailer ever comes off the ball it won’t fall to the ground. It will rest on the chains and you can safely pull over. Love the new addition and hope for more trips to other states.

Happy new year! And congrats on the new trailer! Good thinking on the color choice. That's a nice color. Black def hard to keep clean. I would keep a check on that interior light and make sure it shuts off automatically or that could potentially be a battery drain. Seems odd that it didn't go off when you turned the switch off but, maybe it has a timer. I'm so excited for you to have that new space to store your trailers and to do your storage unit videos. That's an awesome place for that. And Willow is gonna be over the moon about getitng to come with you and run all around her own little area. And we'll get to see more of Willow, Win, win!! Can't wait for the new videos of all these changes. You may want to consider getting moving blankets from Harbor freight and line the walls of the trailer. I know you're going to have tie downs but, moving stuff in and out, constantly, it would keep everything from getting scuffed up, including your totes. And I would pick up some moving blankets to toss in those totes for delicate items. Those totes on wheels are gonna be awesome for this. Great for when you do road trip thrifting out of state as well. I would use the totes for all the misc. stuff and just put clothing into large garbage bags. You guys have the right idea only purchasing as you can afford to. You are so right about stress, and money stress is the worst. Like you said, if all goes well, then in a few years you can think about getting a larger house/property for your business. For now, you are doing the right thing IMO., and that family land is such a blessing for you.

Something you need to buy is a tire jack… I think it’s called something like “EZ tire jack”. You drive the good tire of the pair so it suspends the flat up so you can repair it. About $65 and worth EVERY penny!

Yes have used mine with my horse trailer. Be sure to have your tire jack, lug wrench, and spare tire where you can get to it when your trailer is completely full. I don't have a camera on my truck. I have taken 16 tries to hitch up when I am alone! I have also lined the hitch up on the first try!! Now that my husband is retired he is home to help me.

Great buy guys! That will be such a great improvement to your storage shed buys! Look into Bearing buddies for your trailer wheels, they put extra grease on your bearings helping them stay cooler and keep lubricated! Mount some D rings to the plywood sides so you can use bungees to secure loose items to inside walls. That is how we use ours for catering we have the same one.

We have a 15’ trailer that we’ve had for many years & it sure does come in handy sometimes. We bought it when we used to travel to sell at craft shows. Hubby put the spare tire on the hitch along with a metal box to hold supplies.

I would get several of the rolling wire shelves that Sam’s club sells ($100 ea) to put in the trailer, helps you stack upward in the trailer, you can even roll them closer to the shed opening and load up, then just roll them into the trailer. And attach to the wall anchor system.

I've had a few of these trailers. I painted the inside which preserved the plywood and made it easier to keep clean. Also, the ramp can be slippery especially when wet. We used porch and floor paint with grit on the ramp. Good luck with the trailer and looking forward to the new content.

I second the comments about e-track. Look into all the types of attachment points they offer. You can cut the rails to length, install on the floor, in the nose, one row low / one row high, etc. They even make a removeable bracket that accepts a 2 x 4 so you can build a temporary "deck" if you need to haul something long without taking up all the floor space. Adding your logo is a great idea for one not so obvious reason. If your trailer goes missing it is much easier for the community and the police to find it if it has your big logo on it rather than just "look for a gray trailer". Congrats!

We had an issue on our Ram truck that when you would open the tailgate, the lip that sticks out at the top of the tailgate would hit the top or handle of the trailer jack. That probably depends on your hitch setup or truck lift and such. But we changed the jack out for "The Ultimate Trailer Jack" on amazon. You pull a pin and you can adjust your trailer jack down when your loading the truck bed with the tailgate down and the trailer hooked up. Just a tip if you would happen to have the same issue.

I would put shelves on one side and in the cone to allow y’all to organize the smaller stuff and you could use bins to help which would make unloading easier and more productive since your time is money. I would mount your spare tire where you can get to it without moving stuff not sure how wide the door on side is but if it would work that would be a great place
