When I was a kid we lived off tank water but in summer when it ran out we had to revert to a Sulphur bore, which was fine until you wanted to make orange cordial. 🤮

That beach doesn't really have a name but it's maybe 2 to 3 miles past the old Suwannee bridge. In addition the the FT curling past it, there's also a horse trail that leads to it. Nice place for a break or even to camp. Camping is preferable in winter. Don't want to share space with swamp kittens during warmer weather.

Kelly, Have you encountered more alligators than you have filmed? Seems like you have encountered a lot less than I would have expected. Not a bad thing but just curious.

What were you washing out in the sink? Socks? It's hard to imagine you actually wearing anything that filthy. I'm thinking I'm maybe not cut out to do thru hiking.

Yep you have to except the fact that you will get filthy and stinky when you do a thru hike. But that is all part of the adventure.

Yes those were my socks! They weren’t even as dirty as usual!! Everything I wear was that dirty but I didn’t wash it bc I didn’t want it to be super wet the next morning. 🤣
