Wow, that was a wild, wavy sea! I lived on the West Coast in a little town next to the sea for six wonderful years. I loved to go down to the water’s edge and just sit and watch the waves roll in. I’ve seen some angry seas and some major waves, those waves you had there, with the tide so high, should definitely be a bigger concern for those folks living at water’s edge, more so than some pooch piddle against their homes. You have so much important, early history on the East Coast, but I’ve been fortunate enough to discover much of the later, but equally important history on the West Coast of the US. Thanks for the tour and as always, safe travels! 👋

@@AncientWolfHowl61 history is everywhere. Growing up in California, I loved going to the Spanish missions, mining towns and all the incredible museums SoCal has to offer. When I lived in the PNW it was Lewis and Clark, the Hudson Bay Company and Pioneers. Thankful to be here where my true love has always been, 18th century and Revolutionary War history.

@@ThatHistoryChick California definitely has some cool history. One of my favorite roads is Highway 49, the Gold Route. I finally checked off a bucket list item when I drove the entire length from South to North, several years ago. I took a picture of the road sign that showed “End of Highway 49” to document the journey.

Great town, my brother's lived there for 40 years, a lot of history from the North shore, I'm on the south shore, it's an amazing coastline with blue/green Atlantic waters.
