in a 0:21 while and today I'll show you why from 0:24 the big features all the way to the 0:25 teeny tiny details and make sure to 0:27 watch until the end because BG CEO has 0:30 an exciting message for all of us and so 0:33 do the be andg lawyers which are holding 0:34 me a gunpoint to make sure I tell you 0:36 that all footage is from a pre-release 0:37 version and the things may be different 0:39 when the update comes out now let's talk 0:41 about the big new thing which I'm 0:43 currently driving or should I say the 0:45 medium new thing this is the brand new 0:49 Gabel MD series a medium duty truck 0:52 which fills the gap between the light 0:53 duty D series and the heavy duty T 0:56 Series literally it's basically a D 0:59 series body mounted on a short TS series 1:01 frame it even has the same interior as a 1:03 D series though the gauges do look 1:06 nicer but despite being mostly made of D 1:09 series and TS series Parts it features 1:11 something that no other vehicle has the 1:14 combination of a gearbox splitter and a 1:16 transfer case range box which on top of 1:19 looking extremely cool also allows for 1:21 stupidly low 1:23 gearing like seriously who needs this 1:25 plus there's 20 configurations to choose 1:27 from including early and late VAR 1:29 variant and super cute specialized 1:32 outfits I mean look at how short and 1:34 stubby they look I just want to hug them 1:37 anyways 20 configs is a decent number 1:39 but just like the t- series more should 1:41 be added in future updates and talking 1:43 about the t- series the updates continue 1:46 this time around there's a new twin 1:47 steer cabover 1:51 setup passive steering lift axle 1:57 suspension triy them airbag re 2:01 suspension and a powerful new turbo 2:03 diesel V8 2:05 engine and all this means there's 11 2:08 noticeably updated configurations and 2:10 three brand new ones and yes the 2:13 homelander truck can finally fly again 2:16 and that is all for the big features 2:18 which now brings us onto the slightly 2:19 smaller but still noticeable 2:21 improvements but before that we need to 2:23 talk about the comments under my 2:25 previous video because the one time I 2:27 forget to add a pin comment this cra 2:30 becomes the most 2:32 liked so this time I will make triple 2:35 sure I add a pin comment and I swear if 2:38 it loses in likes to any other stupid 2:41 one or more of INF bana now the 2:42 mediumsized updates include new 2:44 aftermarket parts and configurations for 2:46 the heroi 2:47 SBR and the first generation ibishu 2:50 pesima not going to lie I kind of wanted 2:53 to see a remaster or even a simple 2:54 refresh for these cars especially the 2:57 with its old textures but I honestly 2:59 can't comp playing cuz this is sick then 3:01 we should also have noticeable 3:03 improvements to force feedback and I say 3:06 should because I haven't tried 3:08 it so subscribe to my crappy Channel if 3:11 you don't want to miss it when I 3:12 eventually do it uh next week and uh 3:17 that is it for the mediumsized updates 3:19 yeah I told you this was a weird release 3:21 especially since we now have a whole 3:23 truckload of small improvements starting 3:26 with the Vulcan renderer which has 3:28 finally reached beta and is now stable 3:30 enough for it to be regularly used by 3:31 the beam and G Dev team if you have zero 3:33 idea of why this is extremely exciting 3:36 let me quickly explain why you should be 3:38 Vulcan is a much newer Graphics API 3:40 compared to direct X11 which is what B 3:43 uses currently and it massively improves 3:45 performance now everyone will have 3:46 slightly different results depending on 3:48 their Hardware but on my system I got 3:50 around 50% more frames in West Coast 3:52 with these graphic settings and traffic 3:54 spawned in and the performance 3:56 difference got closer to 100% when I 3:59 completely maxed out the graphic 4:00 settings as well as enabling the CK 4:02 Graphics mod with these options I'll be 4:05 honest playing on West Coast with 4:07 traffic in 4k and Beyond ultra settings 4:11 at 90 FPS feels incredibly weird it's 4:15 like my brain can't accept this is real 4:16 after all these years of it being a 4:18 literal slideshow now another reason 4:20 behind the improved performance is the 4:21 further optimization of traffic as well 4:23 as the simplified versions of these 4:25 vehicles which resulted in a 10% gain 4:28 using direct X11 next up we have some 4:30 small changes here and there around the 4:32 west coast map including an updated 4:35 Diner dirt 4:39 track Refinery 4:41 area and toll 4:44 booths another map that could change 4:46 around slightly is grids more pure which 4:49 now gets Gizmo and ruler decals around 4:51 the spawn point as well as customizable 4:56 Styles the drag system has been complet 4:59 reworked and it now also works in free 5:02 roam without having to interact with 5:03 anything you just line up wait for the 5:06 green and go another Motorsport that has 5:08 received some updates is drifting there 5:11 is no more countdown at the beginning of 5:12 missions and now the drift detection 5:14 system is massively more accurate 5:17 especially at low speeds on the topic of 5:18 missions there are seven new ones in 5:20 this update as well as general revisions 5:22 to the rest including updated player 5:24 vehicles and media plus all scenarios 5:27 that W missions have now been converted 5:29 to to them and can be accessed in free 5:31 roam through map view and challenge 5:33 markers there have also been some UI 5:34 improvements here and there though 5:36 unfortunately this doesn't really 5:38 benefit casual players that's because 5:40 these improvements have been made to the 5:41 development tools such as the FPS 5:43 metrics the world editor and the 5:46 thumbnail generator the tried new UI 5:48 button we got in the previous update is 5:50 still here but unfortunately there 5:52 haven't been any changes to it on the 5:54 other hand something that does actually 5:55 benefit casual players are the updated 5:58 graphic settings which include better 6:00 tool tips though in my opinion adding 6:03 colors would make them more readable 6:04 rebalance presets as well as a brand new 6:06 one for the steam deck and the addition 6:08 of an ultra option for mesh quality 6:11 which controls the LOD on top of that we 6:13 can now control the Amion quality 6:15 between normal and high just like in the 6:18 CK Graphics mod though I assume there 6:20 would be space for an ultra setting to 6:23 which could be what is currently being 6:24 used in the garage and this also goes 6:27 for the new Shadow resolution setting 6:29 which like the ambut cusion doesn't 6:31 match the quality from the CK Graphics 6:33 mode so devs please give us an ultra 6:35 setting next there's numerous 6:36 improvements to sound including new GT3 6:39 transmission 6:45 wine water 6:49 splashes reverse 6:54 beeps 6:58 sirens 7:01 horns and even the 7:05 piano oh and the French race car also 7:07 gets a brand new Motorsport exhaust 7:09 sound which is 7:38 there's also updates to the delery 7:39 editor with tweaks to the user interface 7:42 and the option of snapping around the 7:43 vehicle's sides though the roof one is 7:46 kind of messed up this is great because 7:48 previously there was no proper way to 7:50 align the camera to the body panels and 7:52 so the deons you applied would be all 7:54 warped and finally there's some updates 7:56 to Career Mode now personally I'm 7:58 holding off from playing it until it's 8:00 finished but if you want to know what's 8:02 changed alongside all the other minus 8:03 School details and Bug fixes I couldn't 8:05 fit in this video then you can do so in 8:07 the patch notes which are linked in the 8:09 description alongside my limited edition 8:11 merch now that is all for the update 8:14 stuff but there is still one thing we 8:16 need to talk about the message from BG's 8:18 CEO this was posted on the BG forums in 8:22 late June and mentioned stuff about the 8:23 current state of development and 0.33 is 8:26 delay now I don't know about you but 8:28 when I hear creating the foundation for 8:31 amazing features in the future I 8:33 honestly do not care about a free update 8:36 free literally free being delayed devs I 8:39 just want to say thank you for doing 8:41 what you're doing and to everybody else 8:44 thank you so much for watching see you 8:46 next week with a full feedback
