This. It's impossibile for me to go back to the other games other than the car selections. But you cannot play BeamNG with a wheel and then go back to playing anything else, it's just not enjoyable (especially Assetto, which has the wonkiest "sim" physics I've ever encountered).

@@yurilopes420 Collisions in that game have bizarre physics and don't properly react the way real cars do due to the lack of proper collision physics. The Chaos physics in Unreal kind of lives up to its name, so the cars don't feel as weighty as they should, and there are issues with inertia not feeling as if body roll and suspension articulation properly react to brake force and apex velocity.

the moza r16 is actually probably the best investment in sim racing; for drifting to feel realistic you need 8-10nm of ffb and for racing you need about 10-12nm of ffb you need a dd whheelbase with about 25% headroom of torque to avoid the ffb clipping so a 16nm of torque dd wheelbase like the r16 is perfect!

Yes, BeamNG is now more optimized with this update. Before, I averaged 45 fps on West Coast USA with traffic, now I average 60. Good stuff.

Beamng also updated the Sunburst and Bastion drift configs. Also new Miramar drift config called Canyon King. much easier to drift and a lot more fun. You also need to enable the burnout crash cam in the camera settings, its so good. Beamng is turning into the best game ever.

Hey Goosiest, for your in game camera, try "enhanced chase camera" its in the repository... it changed the whole look of the game since it reacts to g-forces and other nerdy stuff, you can also customise it pretty easily !
