One if the things I love most about the terreria development is that they don't really seem to push an update just to " get it put on time". As far as I can remember it's really just been that updates are done when they get done....something I really wish other games would do. The updates being amazing is a big bonus too lol.

Honestly, I feel like, even with all the joking about final updates, there isn’t really gonna be a true final update, at least not for a while. It seems like the devs are all still really passionate about the game (that, and we’re reaching a ‘Boy Who Cried Wolf’ situation with the claims of final updates.) Not that I don’t think Re-Logic isn’t going to move on to other projects, but I feel like the game is gonna keep going at least to some degree for a while

I think the devs have tried to move on and make other games, but they never worked out as well as Terraria did. Remember Pixel Privateers? Remember Terraria Otherworld? Even within Terraria, some things didn't really work out. Remember that Terraria had an animated series?

the things i care about: new summon: mushroom boy new furniture: potion flask, gives some type of buff new pet: "cenaxe", chops down trees new weapons: including a boomerang axe which insta chops multiple trees new mount/transformations: dinosaur, bat, maybe rat fishing: can see fish in the water whilst you're fishing item sorting: chest hoppers which automatically pull items and put them in chests already placed torches automatically changing to their biome respective torch stress ball: enables auto attack when not moving new achievments, sprites, decoration etc minion buff icon shows your minion count

The first time I got 100% achivements was a few years back and decided to step back for a bit. Then more were added with the new update and it took me a while before I wanted to play again but eventually caved in and managed to get the 100% again a couple months back. As much as I love Terraria I can't help but feel a bit of dread having to grind again.

Remember how in Starbound you could craft and find musical instruments? Then you could play classical songs like say Toccata and Fugue in D. And every instrument sounded very unique. You could play Beethoven on an Electric guitar and it sounded cool. People could create thier own songs that could be added to the game by dumping it into a folder. I really want this for Terraria. BAD.

It seems like there's a very real chance that every boss in the game will have it's own music, all that's left is The Destroyer, the Frost Legion, and the Lunatic Cultist. And we can be reasonably certain that Destroyer gets its own theme given that the other mech bosses already have theirs.

A small issue I've always had is that WATERFALL NOISES DON'T REPEAT FULLY!!! When you listen to it, it cuts out at the very end of the loop. It's bothered me so much my last playthrough when I lived next to a waterfall!

This game has been my favourite game since it was released over a decade ago, and the love that its creators continue to show it despite saying they were finished I don't know how many times makes me so happy. They listen to their playerbase and do their best to make changes that benefit everyone from casuals to hardcore gamers. I'll take all the "last updates" they want to keep pumping out, I love this game and I love the developers!

Well well well, what a coincidence they did exactly that. In fact they added also added a few more hardmode whips, a summoner chlorophite helmet, and 1 more summon and sentry staff from the dead cells crossover. The best part is that this probably isnt even everything yet

i just want all classes to have an end game weapon like the Zenith. you carry a copper sword from first spawn in to craft the thing. maybe other classes can get the same treatment? maybe you slay king slime and get a summoner staff part, or maybe you slay the EOC and you get a cool gun part that you have to carry and get more parts to till moon lord same as summoner. if all classes do not get an end game weapon like the Zenith. then melee class will still be the best class in the whole entire game just based on that end game weapon because it is so insanely OP.
