WHAT?!?! I THOUGHT THE T-REX WAS DEAD!!! Oh my goodness I am so excited for RMC's future now!!
@Sonic-gy7kq19 күн бұрын
Enthusiasts think coaster models with none built for over a decade are dead/discontinued... until a park randomly decides to build one. Ex: Intamin impulse, B&M inverts (kinda), S&S air launch,
@arturobianco84819 күн бұрын
@@Sonic-gy7kq Correct there are also plenty of examples where only one is build and then nothing and suddenly pooofff. Latest example is Vekoma's tilt coaster. So for the originale poster don't give up hope. I do hope they have a slightly differnt train for the T rex though. i'm not as flexible as i used to be and i sort of cramp up on the on the raptor. Its nor really a problem there since its a short ride.
@plighting_engineerd19 күн бұрын
@@Sonic-gy7kq I recall RMC talking in the past about how they wanted to just focus on the Raptor, and it sort of seemed like the Raptor became what the T-Rex was trying to achieve by giving lots of big parks a single rail coaster, while that niche was originally intended to be for the T-Rex

@RollinRonin-L306Күн бұрын
8:15 The "Split-Rex", to me, sounds like it might be the little model you see displayed with the purple track picture on the left by his right arm shoulder. It's a traditional I-Box coaster that's now structured with steel pipe supports instead of any wooden structures and the lack of a "mono-rail" Raptor/T-rex design (hence the name "Split" Rex) It does seem like they're continuing the legacy of the I-Box coaster but now in a much more reliable and dynamic form! I can imagine them making more intense rides and beyond vertical drops using this steel support structure which would look really cool!!! As much as I wish they ran with their original single-railed T-rex idea I'm honestly excited to see what they have in store with this model!
