If you haven’t figured it out by now, fun fact, the side wing plate that says GT-R that is only on the passenger side is from the factory! They only put it on the passenger side so that when you pass someone (on the right side in Japan) you know you got passed by a GT-R lol

@@2JZAddict I’m down in Miami, FL. And yeah from what I’ve seen they’re pretty rare! It’s actually got a interesting background, was one of the Motorex imports but hasn’t seen daylight in almost 10 years, to say I’m excited is an understatement lol

Really?! That’s awesome! Where did you find that thing?! I thought they only imported like 15 or so Skylines. Didn’t realize one of them was a BN6 car. They only made 498 GT-R’s in that color including the 4 preproduction cars that were sprayed in BN6.

I’m new!! 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, I did. Somebody else pointed that out as well. Lol The Supra has a metal splash guard and I thought the GT-R did too. It does not. 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

You can't buy that rubber on the wiper trim, you have to buy it complete. I had to years ago

2:06 this is a bottom of a trunk, not fuel tank ;) r32 had fuel tank in this place but in r33 fuel tank is plastic and seats in between rear seats and boot

@@2JZAddict I have mine R33 for 2 years so I know a few things about this platform 😜 Nissan did lots of upgrades from r32 when they designed r33.

You will find the wire will be bad anywhere that they tied any extra add ons will be terrible

That’s what I’m thinking too. I’ll trace the connection back once I pull the dash apart for the radio swap and see if I can figure out where they tied it in. 🍻👍

2JZ Addict they use those stupid piggy back clips on all Japanese cars I have imported. Terrible. Anything aftermarket I poll out and re-install on get rid of and upgrade. I would recommend a new wiring harness as well if your planning on keeping the car

This was like my supra when I imported it. I had some flaws I had to address. Majority of the suspension needed to be changed, all outdated and rusty. Timing belt was on his way out. Brakes were seized, upgraded to TT brakes but other than that it turned out well!

That’s not bad. At least it was nothing significant. I’m glad you caught the timing belt before it went. That’s a good thing to replace right away. One thing I’ve noticed is that the RB has a lot more going on that the 2J. Lol 2J’s are way easier to work on IMO. Welcome to the Supra club btw! It’s an incredible platform for sure. How do you like yours so far?

If I’m not mistaken, rays te37s didn’t come with center caps for weight savings. That might be the sl variant though. Edit: I imagine you know this already lol New sub landed, looking forward to the 33 content and everything else.

Welcome!! Glad to have you. You are correct. Apparently center caps are a post purchase add on that Rays sells. 🤷🏻‍♂️ These are the TE37 Saga variant according to the wheel stickers so hopefully I can track down a shop that has some center caps in stock. 🤞

The next person on here who says that you need to delete hicas is going to get a 🙋‍♀️ slap. People who say hicas is crap fall into one of following categories. 1. Can't drive 2. Can't drive with hicas 3. Hicas isn't working properly 4. Car setup completely for a very specific application (drag/track only/ with way too much power than hicas was designed for. Otherwise if your keeping it street it's great. Keep in mind that the record lap under 8' was you guessed it...with hicas. If you want to make sure you hicas is working properly there is a diagnostic function activated (very similar to a cheat code on PlayStation). You can find the procedure online. I'm not even joking.

I love the car as it sits. It’s super predictable with a great turning circle. The goal with this thing is to have a fast street car so the current plan is to leave HICAS on the car. That would be super fun ripping through the mountains! 🍻🤘

Good man, I'm an American expat living in Europe and in my neck of the woods there are a lot of twisty's. Imo that's where this car really shines, I feel sorry for the guys only driving in straight lines. Get yourself a set of semi slicks (I run potenza re71r and or r888r). Crazy grip anyways enjoy. Thanks man! I’m glad you like the car. It’s a pretty rare color and took me a while to find it. I actually shot this one in the Hero 9 with external Mic mod that they sell. For event coverage, and most my other vlogs, they were shot on the Sony AX700 w/Rode ProX & dead cat. Don’t worry about the camera stuff man. The important thing is that you’re getting out there and getting after it. You can worry about camera gear later. Keep uploading. 🍻👍

Also, GTRs don't have fog lamps, that's a oversight from the GTSTs I think

Not accurate Series 3 do have rear fog lamps and the front ones are optional.
