People need to forget there old views on what Coventry was like and see for themselves, it’s beautiful now we have so many brilliant places to visit , Fargo , music museum etc , the city centre is looking very good , lots of work still going on, but it was buzzing on Saturday, proud to be from Coventry

I was born in Coventry from 1964 -2002 I Went Coundon infant/junior then Coundon court schools. From leaving school I worked In a varied field of work furniture shop food shop PARKSIDE garage Warwick road and post office and then community transport and finally a taxi driver /private hire driver. Loved that some great cars were built there like Jaguar Triumph and Singer Humber were my father worked for 32 years.. We lived close to Jaguar factory with the WEDGE and just down the road Holyhead road where Alvis factory was my mum worked there some years prior to having me and my sister across the road was Carbodies the famous London taxi. So much was made in and around Coventry I remember In geography doing social Geography I learned so much And as car factories vanished New buildings would appear like out of town shopping. I believe the best bit was Standard / Triumph as the streets around that area were called by the cars produced there like Dolomite way and Herald Close Vanguards way But to name a few. Great video thank you

This seems very selective; mainly showing the medieval stuff. Earlier today I watched another tour of the centre of Coventry and it looked an absolute concrete dump! It was like looking at a third world ghetto. Very thuggish and unsafe looking place, which I am sure the council probably describes as 'vibrant' and 'cosmopolitan'. The people walking past the camera seemed to have no manners or consideration. Just............unsavoury.
