Summer is our slower season here, but there is still a good amount of people at the bars and clubs on the weekends. Sunday night-Wednesday nights are slower in summer, but Thursday-Satuday nights are usually still busy at the bars in oldtown 👍

Oldtown Scottsdale is so much fun and has a ton to offer! It is one of the more expensive areas for apartments, but a more modest 2 bed condo/apartment would start around $1,800 per month or more depending on how updated and location.

Depends how nice of a rental it is, but most of the 1 bedroom rentals in this waterfront area in Oldtown Scottsdale start around $1,500-$1,800 a month. 😊

Is sun city worth looking at as far as living

It depends on what you are looking for in terms of housing and lifestyle. Sun City is primarily an older demographic with not as much shopping and dining as other areas. The housing is more affordable compared to many of the other cities in the area. Many of their neighborhoods are 55+ communities as well. It’s very quiet and residential which is nice, but it’s fairly far from areas like Downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale with more shopping, dining, and night life. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and more laid back it could be a good option. 😊

Hi Samantha, I'm looking for apartments in Old Town/Fashion Square or within walking distance of them. However, in a "calm" area if possible, without nightclubs etc around. Do you have any suggestions? Also, I'm curious about the traffic there. I didn't find a video where you talk about it. I'll be working in North Scottsdale and wonder if the commute will be too tough.

Excited that you're thinking of making the move to Oldtown Scottsdale! I lived here for a while and love the area and how walkable it is! There are lots of great options for apartments in that area and if you want ones that are more calm and not too close to the bars and clubs, I recommend checking out the ones that are south and west of the mall.
