My dude, just discovered your channel a few days ago. Not only are you hilarious, but you have an incredible sense when it comes to fishing. I pick your videos over channels I've been watching for several months now 😂 and that's saying a lot! Keep it up and stay golden, ponyboi. With love from Washington State

Ey. When you throw live fish, are you using sinkers or weights with it? Or are you just running mono leader to hook? I used a simple catfish rig last week and hooked a live shiner on it, and it died pretty freaking fast. Hooked through the tail. Was wondering if maybe the weight of the sinker cause him to die faster, since he was trying to carry it as well.

Do Fish Tell Other Fish Not To Bite? When I'm doing my spring crappie/bluegill thing I've come to notice that if I keep everything (in a basket) then the bite never dies and I don't have to move, but when I release as I catch, it doesn't take long for the bite to go away in that spot. They stay good in the basket so I can still release them when I leave.

@joshelse47152 жыл бұрын
Hey Josh, so I’m in a bit of a predicament. I’ve been fishing for channel cats my whole life on cut bait, stink bait, etc but I’m wanting to go flathead fishing on the river and figure I should use live bait since that works best but in Nebraska where I live it’s illegal to use live baitfish that aren’t from the waters you are fishing in. I’ve assumed from previous videos that you are also from Nebraska and have seen you use live bluegill/sunfish and whatnot and am just wondering if you catch them at the spots you are at or just run the risk of running into a game warden and use them from other places or whatever.
@cameronbrennemanoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I’m not from Nebraska but if the river has strong current find a spot that has a no current hole or a spot behind a big rock use a worm and bobber then catch a green sun fish and use it live
@mattrogueandcamp2 жыл бұрын
The live bait law only applies to lakes in Nebraska.
@jimlahey39192 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t that law only apply to lakes? I’m almost certain it does
@joshelse47152 жыл бұрын
@@jimlahey3919 I suppose you’re right that makes sense. Thanks
@jodysmith27792 жыл бұрын
I'm from Canada so don't know for sure but judging from his vids he catches the small sunfish,bluegill or whatever he uses for bait and then uses them at that spot or in same river. Excep from like goldeye and a couple others he puts in a bag and uses for cut bait later.
